Entering service in 1943/44, The Seahawk was a huge advance in shipboard seaplanes. Fast, nimble and well armed, this single seat seaplane featured surface search radar provisions, a bomb bay in the float (which leaked, so was fitted with a fuel tank and sealed) and had provisions in the aft fuselage for carrying up to 3 seated personel, or a stretcher. Conversion to FSX native materials and animations, beaching gear added. I know that Paul released the native version years back, but Scrubby's has un-mirrored textures. "imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? USS Essex CV-9 Campaign This campaign is a mostly historical commentary of the World War 2 exploits of the USS Essex. The US and Japanese task force compositions, ship names, dates, and most locations are as accurate as possible. In this campaign, the USN is on the offensive. Out of all the actions in which she participated, I chose a good, representative sampling of the major engagements of this great ship from her first action until near the end of the war in the Pacific. Random choice will have you flying either a fighter, divebomber or a torpedo bomber.

CFS2 AI G4M2 Betty. Once you get a flyable configuration for it is a real dog in flight , its hard to control , its center of gravity is to tail heavy, The Flaps do not provide any extra lift and there isnt enough drag making landings nearly impossible.
