HMS Eagle (R94) AI ship, by Usio no Ubuki. Eagle was converted from the incomplete Chilean battleship Almirante Cochrane, reconstruction starting in 1918. She emerged as a starboard island fleet carrier. With Eagle, the admiralty and the Fleet Air Arm developed the art of carrier flying into a science. Eagle served most of the inter-war years in the Med and on China Station, returning to the UK only periodically for refit. She was lost to U-71 on operation PEDESTAL, the convoy to Malta, 11 august, 1942.

Each soviet citizen could take a vacation for 22 and more working days.Some groups like the military, doctors, etc would take one for 30 or 40 days. People would go to the sanatorium in their region, they could go to Crimea, to the Caucasus, Bulgaria and sometimes to other Eastern Countries of Europe - A boom place was SOCHI. To the Russians the equivalent of the Mediterranean Coast with palm trees, hotels, large beaches, hot weather, Vodka and women. You can join the IL-14 crew and take a batch of comarades to this sunny paradise spend the night there and return to Moscow tomorrow...Stalin was here once, never came back again.

FSX Scenery and Flight...Adams Island is part of Auckland Islands archipelago NZ. The southern end of Auckland Island broadens to a width of 26 km (16 mi) where a narrow channel, known as Carnley Harbour or the Adams Straits, separates it from the roughly triangular Adams Island (area approximately 100 km2/39 sq mi), which is even more mountainous, reaching a height of 705 m (2,313 ft) at Mount Dick. The channel is the remnant of the crater of an extinct volcano, with Adams Island, and the southern part of Auckland Island forming the crater rim. - South Islands Air Service, flying Embraer 120s has a Monday and Friday Flight to Adams Island recently started airfield at the new port in Penship Bay , which is still only a dirt strip from Invercargill, NZ.....Fly some cargo and passengers to this very cold place way down under. New Scenery, Land Class and a lighted dirt strip...
