FS2004 North American AT-6C/AT-6G N3676F Photoreal Textures only. Textures for the payware Alphasim aircraft This is a repaint only for Alphasim's Texan/Harvard.The North American T-6 Texan was an excellent design that served as a basic transitional combat trainer in all branches of U.S. service as well as in countries worldwide. U.S. Navy pilots utilised the type under the SNJ designation, the most common versions being the SNJ-4, SNJ-5 and SNJ-6. The RAF was very taken with the design and adopted it as the Harvard. Later versions were manufactured in Canada and the type saw service in countries worldwide. An excellent all-round trainer, the type was quite good at teaching new pilots to avoid the accelerated stall, as a wing would snap round quite unexpectedly if the pilot was unwary. Approximately 17,000 of the type were built and some 350 are still airworthy. Repaint is based on Alphasim's paintkit. Repaint by Ben Hartmann of UKMIL

FSX St Louis PhotoReal Scenery. This is high resolution, 1 meter/pixel, terrain scenery for St Louis, Missouri (MO. Section, BB, is one of 30. A map and descriptions show the section locations and some feature details. This photoscenery is for DAY USE ONLY and will work for any season, but shows only the USGS aerial photo data taken in March 2002. The default FSX mesh works well with this photoscenery and no additional mesh for the area needs to be purchased. The 30 sections of scenery, totalling 2 Gb, contains photoreal terrain textures, encompassing an area bounded by 31.7 E-W and 27.4 N-S miles (about 870 square miles). Each section is independent, but the user may want most or all sections to provide continuity and completeness. By Jim Jones.

HUD Parameters for FSX HUD_Parameters.lua is a Lua script that displays flight parameters in a small text window that pops up when the script is selected by an assigned key or button if the aircraft is in the air. Parameters displayed are: • Indicated Airspeed (IAS. Kts) • True Airspeed (TAS, Kts) • Ground Speed (GS, Kts) • Mach# (when above a user settable altitude, currently 25000ft) • Altitude (ALT, ft) • Radio Altitude (RA, ft) • Vertical Speed (VS, ft/min) • Vertical Speed per Nautical Mile (VS/NM, ft/NM) • Attitude Indicator pitch (AI, degrees) • Flight Path Angle (FPA, degrees) The top of the script contains user settable values for the size and location of the display, the altitude above which the a/c Mach# will be displayed (default is 25000ft), the data update interval in milliseconds (default is 2000), and whether or not data is to be logged in HUD_Parameters.log (default is 0, off). These values can be set using a text editor like NotePad. A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the Lua script. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and use FSUIPC4 to assign a key, button or switch to toggle the script on and off. The script turns off if the aircraft is on the ground. Recently I discovered that in March of 1969, when the lunar module ascent stage, "Spider" was released during the Apollo 9 Earth orbital mission, the ascent engine was commanded to burn to fuel depletion. This resulted in an orbit of 6,934.4 × 230.6 km. That orbit lasted until the ascent stage re-entered and burned up on 23 October 1981. Since the Space Shuttle Columbia first flew on 12 April 1981, that means that, hypothetically, the Space Shuttle could have been dispatched to rendezous (and possibly capture) Spider. These are a series of scenarios utilizing the Shuttle Fleet and AMSO. Both addons must be in the same Orbiter installation, Orbiter 2010, to work properly. The scenarios are located in the Scenario folder "Finding LM3(Spider)". There is a launch scenario on 13 October 1981 and a stationkeeping scenario on 14 October 1981. Using the RPOP MFD, a flyaround is possible. The scenarios are based upon actual orbital elements for Spider from October 1981. Spider was NORAD catalog number 03771.

The TRA_MB5 for CFS2 is a conversion of the AlphaSim (virtavia.com) FsX freeware version. Modifications to the original MDL, DP, AIR, CFG, textures and panel files are mine. The aircraft is presented in operational RAF colors and armed with Guns Only, as opposed to the unarmed prototype. The panel includes autopilot,ECU and European GPS windows, SHIFT+2, 4 and 5.
