- Re-painted custom texture files. Re-painted versions of the
custom texture files in Philipp Tiemann's "newcrops.zip" onclick="NewWindow(this.href,'name','730','400','yes');return false"> intended
to replace the standard FS98 "crops" textures. This re-paint
includes Spring, damp Fall and frosty Winter versions. The 'summer'
texture from the original zip is included unchanged. The textures
enhance the Sacramento/California area, and, especially, Northern

Lake Hood, Alaska.
Lake Hood is the largest and busiest floatplane base in the
world. This scenery is a representation based on satellite images
and what few photographs I could find. Google Earth images were
used to locate the major buildings and determine their sizes.
Unfortunately, all you can see are mostly the tops of buildings
so you have to make your best guess at what they look like from

some missed texture on the scenery (trees) and on the bridge's
ramps (whitout color on his side). The scenery requires the
Gerrysh Gray trees_v3 kit (here).
