FSX_FS2004 PW R-1830 Twin Wasp soundsets_pt.1.zip. Created for all Twin engined aircraft powered by Twin Wasps. Douglas Dc-3/C-47 and variants, Lockheed Lodestar C-60A, Consolidated PBY Catalina, Vickers Wellington B Mark IV, etc. The soundsets are the culmination of almost 4 years continuous development for what is for many aviation enthusiasts one of aviation history's most iconic sounds. The packages include two distinct soundsets. Sound.FSX_PW R-1830 Twin_HD_3D Hybrid. High Definition 3D - Stereo hybrid specifically designed for FSX Cone Sound. Of the 2 sets this sounset is particularly appropriate for external sound realism in FSX, with impressive performance during both spot view ground operations, Tower, and flyby modes. Emphasis has of course been given to replicating the wide, and complex sound spectrum made particularly famous by the Douglas Dc-3 and its derivatives. The internal sounds are a subtle combination of 3D and HD sounds created to replicate the many facets of throttle - pitch settings during engine operation. Though designed for FSX, a cfg.file for FS2004 is provided within the folder. FS2004_FSX PW R-1830 Twin_HD. FSX Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon civilian N6397R Pine Island Air Transport repaint textures, for the Milton Shupe and Team Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon, which you must have previously installed in FSX. Includes chromier chrome on the prop spinners and engine exhaust smoke coordinates for those who want to use engine smoke. The base of this repaint utilizes the Shupe Team base bare metal civilian textures by Nigel Richards. Repaint not meant for or tested on the fire tanker models. Repaint by Tom Tiedman

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. FS2002 Aircraft similar real traffic flight plans These AI flight plans can be used for FS2002. Traffic Tools version 1.2 or higher for FS2002 and AFCAD version 1.2.4 by Lee Swordy is required. all scheduled flights operated by FS 2002 and several add-on Aircraft out of Denver Intl. (KDEN), Frankfurt/Main Intl. (EDDF), Hong Kong Intl. (VHHH), Los Angeles Intl. (KLAX), Tokyo (Haneda) Intl. (RJTT), Tokyo (Narita) Intl. (RJAA) Airports. there are very similar to the real traffic to have more fun. FS2002 Kai Tak IGS/ILS Instrument Landing System. Kai Tak was closed in FS2002 and I originally issued a couple of Zip archives (Tak_VHHK.zip and VHHK_1.zip) to reopen the airport and add ATC and ILS radio frequencies. After issuing my files I received many emails pointing out (quite rightly!) that the IGS (Instrument Guidance System) was missing and it was therefore impossible to do correct approaches to the infamous runway 13.
