This is a repaint (and the first of its type, I think) for Alphasim's Cessna 170B, a taildragger cousin of the eponymous 172. This repaint replaces the default registration of the original paint with American registration, for my fellow American simmers.

This is one of my first tries at repainting an airplane. It is the FSX default black and white Mooney Bravo painted with a red underside.

CFS2 CW-21 Demon. The CW-21 Demon was a lightweight fighter based on the CW-19R general-purpose monoplane. It was intended primarily for export, with 32 being ordered by China in 1939, and 24 improved versions being ordered by the Netherlands East Indies in 1940. Being inadequately armed and with no worthwhile protection for the pilot, the Demons were fair game for the Japanese fighters they opposed. Three of the improved Demons (the CW-21B) were sent to the American Volunteer Group in China, but all three were lost on the flight from Rangoon to Kunming, when the entire group crashed into a mountain during bad weather. FS2002 Grumman F2F-6 Duck USCG colors. The Coast Guard obtained fourteen JF-2's for service with the first being acquired in October of 1934. Two of the Coast Guard's premiere pre-war pilots, Elmer Stone and Richard Burke, took advantage of the amphibian's excellent performance to establish two new records for speed.
