FSX 19th Century Brig Of War USS Niagara
(Category: FSX > Misc)
8.38Mb (908 downloads)
FSX 19th century brig USS Niagara. The boat was the flaghip for Oliver Hazard Perry during the US War of 1812 and fought in the battle of lake Erie 1814. The ship sunk twice, but not in battle: 1820, then it was raised and sunk again in 1836 and was raised again in 1913. Then Niagara served as historical monument and was displayed on land until the hull went rotten. A reconstruction was buildt in 1988 and the ship is under sail again since 1990. The pilotable Sim-model is almost complete rigged with hundreds of ropes and has thirteen animated guns and one animated boat at the stern. Twenty cameras let you explore the whole ship: The deck, extra external views and you can enjoy the sailors views from high above in the masts. The effects allows you to fire broadsides to starboard or to port and aft seperatly. An ai-model to be used with the great tool Aicarriers2 or for ai-traffic is included. The models should run also in Acceleration but they are not tested. FSDS 3.5 model made by Erwin Welker

This is the modified scenery of Lansing Mun. airport. I have given rwy. 18 an ILS approach for Learjets to land easily. I made the main apron larger, added alot more parking spaces, and also added the new, smaller apron. I changed the terrain around the airport so it is not just the plain forest-like terrain. I added the gas station outside the airport, down by rwy 27. I also added the "Ford Hanger" (using the default objects of course). The fuel is now located on the larger apron and the south apron is now the "cargo" apron. I added the parking lots and cars around the airport.
This was made using Airport Design Editor 9x.

FS2002
scenery - Chiang Mai, Thailand, VTCC.
Chiang Mai International Airport is under the authority of the
Airport Authority of Thailand. There are two small airports
near Chiang Mai that I have included in with this project. Lamphun
Airport VTCO is about 12 miles south of Chiang Mai, and Lanna
Airport VTCM is about 9 miles to the southwest. I believe that
both of these airports are privately owned by the clubs that
fly out of there. This scenery "almost" works in FS2004, that
is, a few modifications will be needed, but for the most part
it works fine. I think that this may be the case with most FS2002
scenery. By Martin Strong. 19MB

FS98
Bell P-39C Airacobra, bare metal, USAAC early 1941 (FULL
PACKAGE). Originally designed as an interceptor, the US Army
requested that Bell redesign the P-39 as ground attack fighter.
This led to the removal of it's Allison V-1710's turbosupercharger
and enlarging the plane; leading to a marked reduction in performance.
The C model was the first production variant. However it was
soon learned it was not suited to combat; lacking armor and
self-sealing fuel tanks. Only twenty examples were built and
all were relegated to training duties. FS5 Model/AFX by Eric
C. Johnson. Converted for FS98 with animated prop, flaps, and
landing gear. Includes FS98 rebuild of Dan Griffin's CFS P-39
v2 panel (with gauges by Chuck Dome, Glenn Copeland, Brian Kostick,
Jay Crawford, R.L. Clark, Paul Schwerdtfeger, and Andreas Jaros).
