FS2002 Convair CV-880 Cathay Pacific A repaint of Rey Lopez' lovely Convair 880 in Cathay Pacific livery as VR-HZA. This aircraft, designed in FSDS2, has reflective bodywork with metal underbelly, wings and engines, transparent cockpit with pilots, opening forward passenger door, two 2D cockpits (jumpseat and captain) and a virtual cockpit. Yes, it's a canard fighter! The very first one to be built. It was among the most innovative warplanes of its time. Of all-metal construction and powered by a 960hp liquid-cooled Isotta-Fraschini Asso XI R.C.40 engine driving a threebladed variable-pitch pusher propeller, the S.S.4 had a proposed armament of one 30mm and twin 20mm cannon.

FSX Danish Steam Frigate Jylland from around 1860. She fought 1864 in the battle of Helgland. The ship is equiped with a 1300 hp steam engine and has a liftable propeller for sailing. Now she lies as one of the biggest wooden ships as museums ship in a dry dock at Ebeltoft at the Baltic Sea. This addon is a pilotable version with many sails and twelve additional stunsails and is almost complete rigged with hundreds of ropes. There are fourtytwo animated guns and a Navy crew of thirteen men. 5 what if textures for Tim Conrads Northrop XP-56. A fascinating aircraft, but designed just before a number of breakthroughs in aerodynamics-notably the perfection of laminar-flow airfoils. Redesigned around a larger, heavier engine that delayed the program for almost a year, hamstrung by a host of 'looks good on paper' design features, the XP-56 was a dreadful aeroplane, but made several contributions to the state of the art; notably in magnesium fabrication and heliarc welding. The second prototype survives in storage with the NASM collection at Silver Hill, Maryland. What if it had of worked out? 5 what if repaints depicting USAAF and lend-lease RAF, RAAF, Armee d'Air and Soviet P-56's. Fortunately, Mr. Conrads P-56 is a joy to fly, and despite being so fugly it goes right around the scale back to cute, is a gorgeous model and a great add-on for your virtual hanger.
