CFS__ P_38m "Night Lightning". The P-38M, a dedicated night fighter derivative of the P-38L. The P-38M Night Lightnings were a factory design which followed a number of successful field conversions in New Guinea and Guadalcanal, where P-38Fs were fitted with SCR-540 or APS-4 search radar. The P-38L to M rebuilds involved fitting a cramped 'piggyback' radar operator's station aft of the cockpit, under a bubble canopy, and mounting an AN/APS-4 air intercept radar in a cylindrical pod under the nose, the mounting derived from the standard wing pylon. Seventy five P-38L-5-LOs were rebuilt to glossy black P-38M-6-LOs in late 1944, and deployed to the Pacific theater in 1945, too late to score any kills. This F-Sim Model has fictonal markings. FS2004 Hill Air Force Base (KHIF): This is an updated version of the default version of Hill Air Force Base. All that was edited were the taxiways, parking spots, and helipads. I used satellite images to approximate the locations of everything. This is very basic, but at least now you can land and park. All editing was done by Andy Haws. 72K

FS2000 Only - Kaman HH-43B Huskie. The Kaman HH-43B Huskie was used as a rescue and firefighting aircraft. It carried a foam fire suppressant in a pod beneath it when it was airborne. It would use the combination of the foam and the downwash from the rotor blades in order to put out fires or burning aircraft. It would also hover over trapped personnel, using the downwash from its rotors to keep the flames away from them. By David Eckert. 588K

FS2000 Pro - Aeroworks TR-3A Stryker (Black Manta)The TR-3A is rumored to be a top secret stealth aircraft operated by the U.S. Government and used in conjuntion with the F-117A. The eye-witness reports have changed somewhat over the years but remain consistent on the aircraft being a flying wing that is smaller than the Northrop B-2, but larger than the Lockheed F-117A.
