The Boeing B-9 was the first all metal monoplane bomber produced for the USAAC. It first flew in 1931. It featured a semi-monocoque fuselage and was faster than existing fighter aircraft. It did suffer from pilot visibility problems and the crew stations were not enclosed. It was soon replaced with the sleeker enclosed cockpit Martin B-10 and the later Douglas B-18. This is a panel update for the FSX model by the late Paul Clawson featuring an entirely reworked VC and a new 2D panel with all new gauges. All credits go to Paul Clawson for the original model, new panels by Michael Pook. Exhaust smoke added. This is the whole aircraft. It may work in FS2004 and P3D (v.3).

This texture set was inspired by the few beautifully camouflaged Vigilantes that operated in the US Navy during the early 70s. It might not be 'politically correct' in many respects, but I only could work with what I could find on the Internet. I therefore did what I can with what I have and had to improvise a lot along the way to make this what it is now. Aligning the patterns took many re-visitations to the textures after viewing the sim-supplied aircraft in order to make the necessary adjustments in order for it to look like this - but I suppose all you painters are familiar with this process. It depicts a North American RA-5C Vigilante # 150834, 604, that operated from USS Independence, circa 1974. Textures by A. Ludick. Requires the full model.

de Havilland DH80a Out of Africa Pack. This pack contains the Milton Shupe DH80 aircraft (with consent) and 35 liveries/repaints which cover the many regions of the vast continent of Africa during the 1930/40's era. The DH80 was extensively used throughout the region with some aircraft serving several different organisations and/or individuals. The Milton Shupe DH80 aircraft is an outstanding rendition of this historical aircraft and the liveries within the Pack highlight the dynamic range of liveries she wore in both a fictional and historical sense. 5 what if textures for Tim Conrads Northrop XP-56. A fascinating aircraft, but designed just before a number of breakthroughs in aerodynamics-notably the perfection of laminar-flow airfoils. Redesigned around a larger, heavier engine that delayed the program for almost a year, hamstrung by a host of 'looks good on paper' design features, the XP-56 was a dreadful aeroplane, but made several contributions to the state of the art; notably in magnesium fabrication and heliarc welding. The second prototype survives in storage with the NASM collection at Silver Hill, Maryland. What if it had of worked out? 5 what if repaints depicting USAAF and lend-lease RAF, RAAF, Armee d'Air and Soviet P-56's. Fortunately, Mr. Conrads P-56 is a joy to fly, and despite being so fugly it goes right around the scale back to cute, is a gorgeous model and a great add-on for your virtual hanger.
