Bristol Type 188, the 'Flaming Pencil' was a British highspeed research aircraft. Designed to meet operational requirement ER.134T for a testbed capable of speeds greater than Mach 2. Due to the anticipated effects of kinetic heating at high Mach numbers, the fuselage was constructed of stainless steel. Two aircraft were built, XF923 and XF926. First flight of XF923 was on 14th April 1962 and then XF926 with upgraded Gyron Junior engines on 29th April 1963. Ironically, the Maximum speed achieved was Mach 1.88 at 36,000 ft. Although the top speed of the Type 188 was disappointing, the airframe advanced understanding and knowledge of structures, oils, electrics, hydraulic fluid, bearings, tires, windows and cabin environment at high temperatures as well as telemetry which was used during the development of Concorde. This is a very detailed CFS2 warship of WWII from Usio no Ibuki in a high quality but without VC. This is my first attempt at an envmap. I wasn't happy with the other envmaps that I tried. So, I made my own. This is by far the most convincing reflection that I've seen. I just took a photo of the horizon, butchered it and here it is. You can actually watch the clouds pass the length of the fuselage.

This repaint - textures only - is for the L1049H model of the Constellation Group around Manfred Jahn, in both Pax and Cargo Version. CF-NAM was delivered to National Airlines in 1957 as N7134C. It was purchased by Nordair in 1964 together with other Connies. The Connies were used on domestic flights to the North of Canada, but also on cargo charters to Europe. Sold to Canairelief in 1969, they were ferried to Sao Tome off the West African Coast for use on the Biafran Airlift. CF-NAM and CF-NAL are surviving there in derelict condition. The cargo version has a cargo net and different night lighting.

1939 Vought SB2U-1 Vindicator for CFS2 This FSDS version of the Vindicator is painted for the 2nd Section Flight Leader of VB-4 assigned to the US Ranger. It has transparent canopies, moving parts including spinning wheels and an accurate canopy slide. Dan Griffith's SBD panel is included.
