The airport can handle aircraft for middle range flights. For cargo flights it can handle aircraft like B757, B767, A310 and IL-76. Pakyong Airport is a greenfield airport near Gangtok, the state capital of Sikkim, India. The airport, spread over 400 ha (990 acres), is located at Pakyong village about 35km (21.75 mi) south of Gangtok. One of the five highest airports in India, it is also the first greenfield airport to be constructed in the Northeastern Region of India, the 100th operational airport in India, and the only airport in the state of Sikkim. The Pakyong Airport project is one of the tallest reinforced soil structures in the world. The Mauterndorf Airfield is the highest airfield in Austria: 3642 ft or 1110 meters above sea level. This Airfield is very popular with glider flyers due to the good updrafts for flying in the alps. Mauterndorf and the surrounding villages, valleys and major roads are included. As well the field is covered by a photo background, wich includes four different images , each for one of the four seasons spring, summer, autum and winter. The buildings in this scenery are designed mainly new by myself, but also a lot of objects from two very popular freeware libraries. If these libraries are not installed, many objects are not visible! The following libraries are used: 1. Small airport in Slovenia, close to Croatia. Just copy content of LJCE folder into your Addon Scenery folder in FSX or P3D. It uses standard FSX object libraries. It looks best with ORBX FTX Global, as you can see on screeenshots.
