FS2000 Caesar-Air CSE VA Dornier 328-120 This is a rework of Hans-Guenther Schnell and Ulrich Effertz's original AFX file optimized for FS2000. New twelve sided fuselage, new wing, elevators and rudder has been added. Original by Alessandro Casadio for iS4g Workshop. Comes in two version paint: True 16 bit, extreme high detail upto 512x512 partials, 3.1 MB crispy bitmaps and: a lowres 1 MB version. Painted for Caesar-Air VA. FS2002/FS2004 Hawaii Pacific Air ATL.98 Carvair Textures only. These textures represent Aviation Traders' ATL.98 Carvair #20 N5459X and #21 N5459M in the livery of Hawaii Pacific Air. Although Hawaii Pacific Air owned them only less than 2 years (mid 1990-early 1992) after which they were stored at Honolulu, HI, for over 3 years. They moved ownership several times before Airline Marketing Consultants bought them with the aim to ferry them to South Africa. This whole time they retained their Hawaii Pacific Air colours. In the end only N5459M moved to South Africa where, registered 9J-PAA, she is still airworthy, flying for Phoebus Apollo. N5459X stayed in North America. She, too, is still airworthy, flying for Brooks Fuel as N898AT. These are textures only. Purpose of these modifications are to fly the SR-71 with a little bit more ease when using Auto Pilot and to fly the aircraft from VC. After modifications we now got satisfying Auto Pilot behavior although the aircraft reaction is a little bit slow (as should be I guess) on turnings and catching AP Speed values. As Paul R. Varn said: fly the SR-71 aircraft on appoaches like an Airbus. The Auto Pilot speed hold function is now responding okay when deploying flaps (in reality this is altering the Inlet Spikes position) as opposed to the 'original' LLS configuration. Also added Engine heat glow effect, Sonic Boom effect, changed and recoded Afterburner effects. Also added Landing Gear Warning system, Cockpit Sounds, automatic Landing and Taxi lights. Added more gauges and made some gauges in VC expandable with enhancements in order to be able to fly the SR-71 in VC solely. 32-bits RKG_fuelstat is replaced with a limited XML variant. Like in the real SR-71 Gear warning system has been implemented and fuel probe state has been fixed. Latest updated 2012 aircraft sound by Paul R. Varn is added as default sound set. Two other sound sets are available, one (ALPHA) is much louder and one (FSAT) is more quite compared to Paul's set. Unfortunately I could not retrieve visibility of the Drogue Chute. Finally two NASA liveries has been added. All the modifications were tested okay in Prepar3D v4+

Watched the Tour de France 2017. Stage 18 looked sort of interesting as a possible mission, so that is what I've made. In the actual tour, there are bikes, motorcycles, cars and helicopters used along the route. A map of stage 18 has been provided. I set out points of interest about 10-15 miles apart. The route is in the Alps and is 179.5km (111.5 miles, or about 100nm) long. The final destination is essentially at a mountain top. Take off in an AirCreation Trike Ultralight from Briancon, to St. Crepin airport to Embrun to Le Sauze du Lac to the airport at Barcelonette to Guillostre and land at the high region of Col d' Izoard. Should you prefer to use a helicopter, feel free to change the trike, say, in the FLT file. In any case, Touch & Goes at each point of interest and land at Col d'Izoard. I added crowds at the points of interest. That has required the use of FSX Acceleration or Gold.

Located on Banks Island NWT in Canada's arctic, the latest proposed version of CFB North Star scenery (v8) for FSX includes new aurora and obstruction lighting effects, plus additional buildings.
