Prepar3d Scenery - Ottawa 2016. Extensive scenery for the city of Ottawa, capital of Canada. Contains more than 200 custom and default objects, including landmarks like Parliament Hill, many buildings in the downtown core and the Byward Market, shopping areas like Bayshore and Carlingwood Mall, sports facilities like Lansdowne Park and the Canadian Tire Centre, and many more. Also adds many roads, some with ground traffic, and extensive areas of landclass. Several Easter Eggs are visible to pilots willing to search. By Andy Johnston.

This scenery addon will add custom buildings and hangars to W96 airport. W96 is a small general aviation airport a few miles east of Richmond, VA. This airport has a relatively short runway with trees at both approach ends which make for interesting landings.

For the freeware SMS Overland MD-11 with P&W 4460 engines, which you must have previously installed in FSX. I installed the freeware (SMS-MD-11_Dutch_Package.zip) with VC which works well with this repaint. Also includes engine exhaust smoke coordinates which you can add to your "aircraft.cfg" if you wish. "imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public.
