BAC One-Eleven 401 LANICA (Merpati Basic) Textures only.
After losing the use of their own aircraft while being repaired
after a hijacking, Lanica leased in from other airlines to cover.
Intially it operated a CourtLine series 500 but soon replaced
that machine with this American Airlines series 401 that had
been leased to Merpati Airlines of Indonesia. Still in the Indonesian
carriers residual livery it was in use from March 1972 until
March 1973 when it was sold on to Bahamasair as VP-BDI.Requires
the BAC One-Eleven 400 model by David Maltby (here).
