Update for FSX of the AMX

This is an update for FSX of the AMX model by Francesco Missarino which was updated by the people at the Sim Out House. The full credit list is with this update. I have given it a 2D panel from a picture of the VC; most of the gauges are from other aircraft as the ones on the VC are part of the VC; I corrected the contact points where needed; changed the size and position of the GPS and the window number and position of the configuration manager; added engine flames; added a launch assist section; and updated the flight dynamics. Last warning, new e-mail address.

Some upgrades I made for the already great SkyHigh Simulations soundpacks for the A320 family.
Compatibility: Tested in Prepar3D 4.5, but should work in earlier versions and FSX as well. About the addons, this was based on the Project Airbus A320, but should work with native packages for those simulators without issues.

Base Package V.2.0 of the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 Native Prepar3D v4 model. This package contains the passenger version of the MD-11 in a fictional paint in Overland livery. This Freeware model once was created for FS2004 by SMS Overland. You can now pilot this aircraft on Prepar3D v4.5+ with a virtual cockpit, Panel 2D, custom sounds from a real MD-11. All textures have been converted to 32-bit. Panel.cfg and Aircraft.cfg have also been upgraded for P3D. More SMS-Overland MD-11 repaints for P3D and also a Paintkit, you will find on http://www.adrastea.de/md11.html

Welcome to Helena Regional Airport for FSX! All the structures are custom. Airport vehicles use
the proper vehicle paths and do not use taxiways. The Rocky Mountain Emergency Services fire training
facility is depicted and there is a training session in progress. Be sure to visit Mustard Mickey's
before your travels take you through the scenic Montana wilderness. Stop by Vetter Aviation and thank

As with all my work the structures are original work. Some are accurate, some are workups based on what
I think they might look like.
Three scenery complexity levels are used (normal,dense, and very dense). More eye candy appears with each
increase.

Swiss Hang Glider mission with thermals

There is a sailplane tutorial & mission in FSX. This hang glider mission is placed in the same region. For a better experience in this hang glider mission, I found it fun to use the thermals in the area. In your settings, choose weather and the option of schematic to make the thermals visible. When you lift off from the mountain, perform about a 180 degree turn & you should see a high thermal spiral very close by. Lift off is from about 11,560'. By circling within the thermal, you should be able to reach 18,000' to 20,000' without too much difficulty. This opens up the possibility to reach some distant airports at over 50 miles away.
