This is a repaint for Project Airbus' Airbus A380 in a fictional Canadian Airlines livery. Includes base model, high-quality textures, and updated VC. Mask Options This livery also includes cockpit window "Mask Options". Please see the included readme in the .zip file for instructions for applying these options. Canadian Airlines never flew the A380, as by the time the company was absorbed by Air Canada in 1999, the aircraft did not exist. The largest aircraft flown by Canadian Airlines was the Boeing 747-427. However, in our new universe, Canadian Airlines has taken delivery of one single Airbus A380, available to fly any route of your choice. It flies under the registration C-CSPN and the tail number 383. Livery Info Upon its founding in 1987, Canadian Airlines revealed its new livery using the colours light grey, dark grey, navy blue, and red. The paint scheme was an adaptation of the recently introduced livery from its predecessor Canadian Pacific Airlines. The lower half of the aircraft's body was navy blue, topped with light grey and red stripes, while the tail was blue, with approximately one-third taken up by the carrier's new logo. The new Canadian Airlines logo was a combination of Canadian Pacific's five grey stripes, representing the five continents served by the carrier. Over these stripes was a thick, bright red chevron. The chevron was a simplification of the Pacific Western Airlines logo. The chevron was placed over the stripes, which then represented "Wings over 5 continents". It was also an ingenious and subtle way to represent the takeover of CP by PWA. The same logo, in a square form, became a clever alternative to a true bilingual name on the fuselage replacing the French "e", and the third "a" in English (Canadian/Canadien). Project Airbus A321 model. Features include dynamic wingflex (with input from several new variables), drooping control surfaces, hardcoded double strobes, and over 20 other custom XML parts.

Although I tested the Alverca AB scenery on a more or less neutral computer with basic FS9 configuration, it was not obvious to me that some building textures were missing due to an active Fassberg scenery which was using some of the same textures. That means, FS9 took the required textures which were missing in the Alverca AB textures folder from the Fassberg scenery. This I didn't know so far. The textures for the water tower and the storage tanks are still missing and they will be provided shortly by a second update. I am sorry for causing this inconvenience.

Repaint for the superb Thicko's Yokosuka D4Y3 Suisei for CFS2. I used a texture by Morton as a base for this repaint of a "Judy" from 601 Kokutai - Tail number #35.

This airport was run by one man, Alby Cornell for its entire lifespan excepting one year. His brother Ernie started it just after WWII but sold it to Alby shortly after. It operated continuously for nearly 50 years. This incarnation represents the heydays of the early 1960's. Two grass strips with a quarry next door. Over the years the airport was reduced to one runway and that moved as the quarry encroached. Alby Cornell who was my primary instructor retired with over 42,000 hours of flight time in light aircraft.(that is 42 thousand), and the airport was closed.
