CFS Scenery Add-On "Dusseldorf" The "Dusseldorf" scenery is totally fictional but attempt to show a detailed depiction of the german airport of Dusseldorf during WWII. All information are took through the net, from the Dusseldorf scenery for FS98 created by Michael Kopatz, current aerial photos and DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH flugplatkarte, for represent a wartime style of this International Airport in the Ruhr region. Due to problem with the CFS ground level and slopes, the scenery is not placed in the true place of the real airfield. Today this airport is a civil International Airport, and I don't know if this was operated by the Luftwaffe in the WWII. Therefore I have preserved the civil look of FS98 scenery, without combat planes, AA guns, half tracks or others military equipment. I only change the buildings look of FS98 scenery and place some transport and civil planes. The only military elements are some trucks with german markings and the searchlights, to show a WWII style of this airport as a good complement to other sceneries of Ruhr region. CFS Bell P-39D Airacobra, USAAC 31st Pursuit Group, Selfridge Field, MI, February 1941 (CFS ONLY PACKAGE). Originally designed as an interceptor, the US Army requested that Bell redesign the P-39 as ground attack fighter. This led to the removal of it's Allison V-1710's turbosupercharger and enlarging the plane; leading to a marked reduction in performance. The D model was the first combat ready production variant.
