This package includes a heavily modified and updated version of the FS9 Alphasim PBY Catalina. The package includes expansion models based on the Cat to create not only the PBY-5A Catalina Firebombers, but also, the PBY-6A and PBY-5A and -6A Super Catalina variants. The Super Catalinas were special modified firefighting models used in the USA where the R1830s were swapped for more powerful R2600 engines from the B-25 as well as other aerodynamic and structural changes including a modified tail for the -5A variant Super Cat. The Super Cat had much better climb performance, top speed, and yielded an additional 500 more gallons of payload compared to a standard Catalina. Making them able to carry 1,500 US gallons of water or fire retardant versus a standard Catalina's 1,000 US gallons. The package also includes modifications such as working belly tank doors, addition of 4k textures, PBR, custom sounds, updated accurized flight dynamics, 6 total model variations, 6 repaints, and a completely remapped fuselage for easier repainting. Liveries included represent Airborne Fire Attack, Buffalo Airways, Flying Firemen, and SLAFCO. Original aircraft by Alphasim, updated and repainted by Nicholas Mitchell "Scorch00."

A fun project done back in 2009 by Garry J. Smith, when he repainted all of the aircraft of the Heritage Flight Museum, and created a Space City, Bill Anders Field (of Apollo 8/Earthrise fame), and many other features you'll have fun discovering. IMPORTANT: You must point the install process to a temporary folder. Just create a temporary folder with any name, browse to it (with the ... button) when prompted and go. The project will then be installed into that folder. Afterwards, read the simple installation document for the simple installation instructions, that will be in the temporary folder This scenery Package contains the following: (1) Revised, modernized scenery for KBLI Bellingham International Airport including a fictional Heritage Museum area. (2) A facsimile of the KBLI World War II era (3) A fun Bill Anders Field positioned on Lummi Island – created just for some simming fun. (4) A fun Carrier parked near Bill Anders Field – created just for some simming fun – can do touch and goes on the deck. (5) A fun Space City – with a small harbor. United rainbow livery (created by Saul Bass) for the Boeing 747-100 by Project Open Sky. I did paint the livery with the extra upper deck windows (10), as United ordered some of their 747s. FSX/Acceleration Upgrated Italian light cruiser LUIGI DI SAVOIA-Duca Degli Abruzzi in three versions. The cruiser was launched in 1933 and serverd in the Regia Marina during world war II. After the war the ship was modernized with reduced weapons but with radar. The boat was decomissioned in 1961. This addon is an upgrade to that version I have published October 2015 at Flightsim.com and Simviation.com. It contains two pilotable versions with new and improved textures with many animations (including catapult launch of a floatplane in the WWII model) and an ai-version with reduced parts. The pilotable one has a 2D panel and virtual decks views. Twenty decks views and five external views allows you to explore the detailed cruiser. The ai-ships are supposed to be used with the great tool ai-carriers2 or for ai-traffic. FSDS 3.5 model, panel and effect configuration by Erwin Welker.

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-133B Cargomaster in the USAF MATS scheme. The freeware Douglas C-133 Cargomaster by Tim Conrad is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & FS2004. Textures for FS2004 users are included. Textures are 32bit DDS & DXT3 BMP. 59-0534 was assigned to the 1501st Air Transport Wing. It was destroyed on 30 Apr 1967, when it was ditched 34 miles from Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan after takeoff due to engine failure. The propellers became stuck in fixed pitch due to electrical problems in either propeller control or propeller power circuits. The crew of 9 survived, but one was seriously injured.
