It excelled however in the all-weather strike role during the Vietnam conflict, where the type was used intensively to protect the bombers from the SAM threat. The F-105D was the standard single-seat model used by the USAF in many varied strike roles through out its service. Waterman, Figuring that most people couldn’t afford both an airplane and a car, and believing that the car was a necessity of modern life, Waterman set out to build a car that could be turned into an airplane. The result was the “Arrowbile,” a small plane with wings that could be detached in a few minutes. Much of the vehicle was made with standard car parts, and in fact a normal Studebaker engine powered the wheels (when in car mode) and the propeller (when in airplane mode). This is an FSX/ Acceleration update of the Former payware, now freeware, Alphasim Lockhhed C-141 Starlifter including five liveries. The package is a combination both the C-141A and C-141B. It features an enhanced VC, VC- and landing lights, extra VC and internal views as well as smoke effect. The runway is now visible in cockpit view at night.
