FSX/Acceleration German scout tank Luchs (Lynx). This fast 8-wheel tank is equipped with a 10 cylinder 390 hp HP engine and runs up to 92 kmh (forward and backwards). Floating the tank reach 10 kmh in water. It is armed with a 20mm gun and a 7.62 mm MG-3. The turret of the model with its gun, the maschine gun with its gunner are animated. Also the floating shield and the turnable propellers when you want to cross a river. Virtual views for the driver and the gunner plus a 2D-panel for the driver inside are represented. Aichi D3A2 model 22 Val During the early years of the pacific war, the Val was a highly effective and feared aircraft but this gradually changed as the war progressed. When the US Navy sank the 4 of the most important Japanese aircraft carriers during the battle of Midway, many Vals and their experienced pilots were lost. Based on combat experiences, the designers from Aichi tried to improve the top speed of the D3A1 model 11 by replacing its engine with the much more powerful Kinsei 54 (take-off power: 1300 HP). This modification went into mass-production in August of 1942 as the Aichi D3A2 model 22, and was delivered to units during fall of 1942. By this point however, the new D4Y1 Judy dive bomber was already available and in mass-production. The D4Y became the standard carrier dive-bomber of the Japanese navy. The D3A2 Vals were then stationed on land-based airfields as well as on smaller carriers which the D4Y couldn’t land on because of its higher landing speed. The increase in speed compared to the D3A1 however did not prevent the D3A2 from being nothing but cannon fodder for the new US fighters like the Hellcat and Corsair. Squadrons equipped with D3A2s suffered catastrophic losses and they weren’t able to deal any significant damage to allied naval vessels anymore. At the beginning of 1944 many D3A2s were modified and sent to training units, receiving the designation D3A2-K, but the D3A2 continued in service until the end of the war mainly as a kamikaze aircraft. Production of the D3A2 was completely stopped in June 1944. In total 470 D3A1s, and 1016 D3A2s were produced. The D3A remains one of the most iconic planes ever produced by the Japanese. It sank at least 16 allied warships which makes it one of the most successful dive-bombers of all time. Using the D3A1 by Akemi as a starting reference, the D3A2 model and textures were developed by Captain Kurt. The pilot figures are Wolfi's freeware Japanese pilot .fsc source file. The prop spinning texture is by Kelticheart. The 2D panel background image is by Morton, much modified to more closely match the model VC. The gauges are by Microsoft, FDG, JWB and Martin Klein. The Bombs are by Allen. The air files are by Akemi, modified to D3A2 specs. The rear gunner and canopy opening are activated by the retract gear command.

FSX/Accel Pilotable light cruiser USS Cleveland. CL 55 was the first ship of the Cleveland class. Commissioned in 1942 she fought in WWII in the Pacific in the areas of Solomon Islands, Kula, Shortland Islands, Marianas, Philippines and East China Sea. Powered with 100.000 shp the vessel reached almost 33 knots. Clevelands became decommissioned in 1947. Now you can explore this succesful warship by toggling through twenty seven cameras showing hundreds of realisticly details. Effects are seperatly configured for port and starboard. The Ai-vessel is converted from Sketchup to native FSX by Klaus Novak and belongs to his WWII Royal Navy fleet at SOH. FSX/Acceleration WWII battleship of the Japanes Imperial Navy as pilotable and ai-version. Mount Kongo was launched in 1912 and served as battlecruiser until 1929. She then got an recconstruction to a battleship, equipped with a catapult and carrying 3 floatplanes. In 1935 Kongo got again a modernisation to a fast battleship reaching more than 30 knots, eqipped with less casemat guns but many more AA-guns. Kongo fought in the Pacific war from 1942 until November 1944, when she was sunk by the submarine USS Sealion. The pilotable version has a very detailed virtual navigation bridge plus a 2D panel. Twenty six camera views let you explore all decks and the virtual bridge. The gauges are made by Pierre-Jean Carosin. The ai-version is proposed to be used with the great tool "ai-carriers2". This is a repaint of the L-188 Electra in KLM 1966 colors. The freeware L-188 Electra by Libardo Guzman is needed for this repaint. Textures are 32bit DDS for FSX/P3D3 . FS2004 DXT3 BMP textures are included as well. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, FS2004, & P3Dv3. On February 29, 1956, KLM signed a contract with Lockheed for the delivery of 12 Lockheed L-188C Electras. KLM needed a number of aircraft with a larger flight range and greater capacity than its Vickers Viscounts and the carrier was not convinced that the Se-210 Caravelle was profitable, which proved to be false. KLM was thus the only European user of the L-188 as most major European airlines decided to purchase the Caravelles. The twelve L-188C Electras were delivered to KLM between October 10 1959 and December 14 1960. This is a repaint of PH-LLD which was delivered to KLM on 16 December 1959. In February 1969 it was bought by the U.S. carrier Universal Airlines, and converted to a freighter.

Textures for the TDS Boeing 727-247 in Western Airlines 727-247 colors with the iconic 'Indian' motif. Until its acquisition by Delta Air Lines in 1986, Western Airlines was for many years the only survivor of a handful of airlines that pioneered commercial air transportation in the U.S. in the mid-1920s. It was then Known as Western Air Express, it was renamed Western Airlines in April 1954. It was the oldest continuously operating airline in the United States until the amalgamation with Delta in 1987. Its first jet aircraft arrived in 1960 in the form of two Boeing 707-100s. The 707-300s, 727-200s and 737-200s joined the team later in the 1960s. This repaint is of a Western 727-247, circa 1970. Western operated the 727-200 from 1969-1987. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-4+.
