FSX Djerba Zarzis International Airport, Tunisia
82.92Mb (285 downloads)
Well it starts like always, I can't find a usable freeware airport in this case for the DTTJ Djerba-Zarzis so I'll build it myself again......... well what can I say here it is built as real as possible with many details with the standard scenery after a lot of work .......... So fly to Tunisia to the island of Djerba, of course with an Airbus A321 or a Boeing 737. There you change to a helicopter or a smaller plane and look around the area...Tip: Zarzis is near the port a helipad...... Installation: copy the folder DTTJ Djerba Scenery into the addon folder of the FSX, start the FSX go to settings, scenery library, add area, press OK, then you can already start............. Extras: to be able to see people, I deliver the file 3DPeoble_Lib, copy it into the Addon Scenery folder and activate it in FSX as described during the installation and you can already see people...... the same applies to all files that are supplied to see more details in the FSX folder Addon Scenery copy individually and activate in FSX you should have already activated one of these files! You don't need to install it again! EZ-Scenery-Object Files ( for extra buildings and accessories ) ...... RCJ-Neoplan............( Buses ). airport_restaurants_ss_fsx.......... ( extra building ) Parking lots_large_ss_Fsx.Bgl........( vehicles and parking lots) Lightobj.bgl......lights and light poles......... more about it on my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com /channel/UC7vHXQMa3hhU2iGtODXlkHw/videos Support:Questions and help on my YouTube channel or by email to jam_aika@hotmail.de And now have fun In Djerba Jamaica

RAF Honeybourne, UK - 1945
RAF Honeybourne, UK - 1945 (Category: FSX > Scenery)
2.29Mb (285 downloads)
RAF Honeybourne was a Royal Air Force station located 0.6 miles (0.97 km) south of Honeybourne, Worcestershire, England and 4.6 miles (7.4 km) east of Evesham, Worcestershire, England. The airfield was home to No. 24 Operational Training Unit RAF (OTU) which used Vickers Wellingtons and Armstrong Whitworth Whitleys from 15 March 1942 until July 1945 flying many operational bombing and leaflet dropping operations. A number of units from Ferry Command were based here including a ferry training unit using Lockheed Hudsons and Bristol Beauforts. The airfield was also temporarily home to No. 21 OTU flying Wellingtons from RAF Enstone from August 1945 for two months because the runways at their home base were being repaired. From October 1945 until 1946 107 Sub Storage Unit from No. 8 Maintenance Unit used the airfield for storing Wellingtons and General Aircraft Hamilcar gliders. The role of the airfield after the war changed with the reduction of flying movements and with a slight change in what the units did on the airfield when No. 107 Sub Storage Unit from 1947 began to collect no longer needed Wellingtons which were then scrapped and taken to Weston Subedge goods yard (which was near to the south-western corner) where the railway would take them to the necessary destination. In July 1948 the site was closed and much has reverted to farmland with runways being removed in 1968. Since then, the airside area has evolved into the Honeybourne Airfield Trading Estate with the five hangars being used for different purposes

RAF Cammeringham, UK (Category: FSX > Scenery)
0.01Mb (285 downloads)
RAF Cammeringham (formerly RAF Ingham) was a Royal Air Force station used by RAF Bomber Command between 1940 and 1945 and the Polish Air Force until 1946. The airfield was located between the A15 (Ermine Street) and B1398 roads, 10.3 mi (16.6 km) north of the county town Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England and due east of the village of Ingham. Mainly used as an overflow airfield for nearby RAF Hemswell and later as a training establishment, its continued use was limited by damage to its grassed runways. The airfield closed in early December 1946. The site had been considered as a potential stand-alone airfield as early as 1936 but building did not commence until 1940 when RAF Hemswell needed additional capacity during the expanding World War II bomber offensive. Initially no squadrons were based at the station and it was used exclusively by Hemswell as an overflow site. Detailed surveys were undertaken in preparation for the building of the concrete runways then needed for heavy bombers, but it was decided that the contour gradients were unsuitable and the runways remained grass only. However between 1940 and 1942 a concrete perimeter track was constructed, together with three hangars (1 x B1 and 2 x T2 types) and a technical site. A total of 36 pan-type aircraft standings were constructed in two phases.
