FSX/P3D DC-10-30 VLAT 10 TAC Texture Pack

This texture package represents the newest liveries for 10 Tanker Air Carrier of the Very Large Air Tanker or VLAT DC-10-30 models. As of 2021 3 of the 4 aircraft from 10 TAC have been repainted. T-911 is the only remaining in the old livery. The updated texture pack also has been updated to 4K textures and added additional shading fixes and texture enhancements. A section of the readme also is included to move those updated textures to the original pack if you so wish. This package represents T-910, 911, 912, and 914 respectively. My VLAT Mod is required for this pack.

C-69 Captmercy Dvslats for Combat Flight Simulator 2. The Lockheed C-69 Constellation was a four-engined, propeller-driven transport pressed into military service during World War Two. It was the first military version of the Lockheed Constellation aircraft line. It first flew in 1943, and production of the 22 constructed was shared between the United States Army Air Forces and commercial carriers. Most of the C-69 aircraft built were later converted into civilian airliners under the new designation L-049

Construction of the airfield was completed by mid 1942, and it opened on 1 August that year, with a classic three concrete
runway RAF "star" arrangement. The name 'Whitchurch Heath' being used until 1 June 1943, when RAF Tilstock was adopted.
Between 1 September 1942 and 21 January 1946, the airfield was used by No. 81 Operational Training Unit and No. 1665 Heavy
Conversion Unit Royal Air Force for the training of pilots and crews in the operation of Whitley, Stirling and Halifax heavy
bombers. During the 1950s, Auster AOP.6 and Auster T.7 'spotter' aircraft of No. 663 (AOP) Squadron RAF used the facilities
of the otherwise non-operational airfield during weekends for liaison flights with Royal Artillery units on training
exercises.
The airfield is still being used today at weekends for skydiving and has the icao EGCT.

November 1943 No.106 Sqn Operating the Avro Lancaster. The squadron disbanded at the station on the 18th February
1946.
September 1944 No.1690 BDT Operating the Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, Miles Martinet. The Bomber
Defence Training Flight left Metheringham on the 4th June 1945.
June 1945 No.467 (RAAF) Sqn Operating the Avro Lancaster. The squadron disbanded at the station on the 30th
September 1945.
October 1945 No.189 Sqn Operating the Avro Lancaster. The squadron disbanded on the 20th November 1945.
March 1946 Station ceased flying and put on Care and Maintenance.
March 1946 No.93 MU The Maintenance Unit left Metheringham in December 1950.
1951 RAF Metheringham closed.
1961-2 The airfield is sold-off
