This is a repaint of the F-27-200 in Aviateca colors. The freeware FSX Native F-27 by Bjorn Kesten is needed for this repaint. The textures are 32bit DDS. It was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FSX & P3Dv3. History of TG-AOA: Aviateca operated 3 F-27s over the years. The one depicted in this repaint is an F-27-200. History of TG-AOA: This aircraft began life with All Nippon Airways of Japan when it was delivered to them on November 3 1964. Ten years later to the month, it was sold to Air Niugini on November 28 1974. It was then bought by Aviateca with the registration TG-AOA, on April 6 1978. The Guatemalan Air Force was the next in line when they bought it on January 1 1983. They consequently converted it, in May 1985, to an F-27-400M which is the Military version. This version featured a large powered cargo door to facilitate movement of loads to the aircraft. It passed a few more hands along the way when it was finally bought by the German carrier WDL Flugdienst on May 15 1995.

This is a repaint of a USN Fairchild R4Q-2 (C-119F) colors. Ted Giana's C-119 package is needed for this repaint. Full credit to Daisuke Yamamoto for the model. The US Navy Transport Squadron VR-24 acquired a number of R4Qs in early 1961 from a USMC squadron, which was itself getting ready to receive C-130s. After a short time, VR-24 followed the Marine Corps' lead when it began operating C-130s in 1961. Just the following year, 1962, the last of VR-24's R4Q-2s was flown to the 'Bone yard' at Litchfield Park, Arizona. However, R4Q-2s and C-119s soldiered on in other Naval Air Transport Squadrons, Air Force Reserves, and Air National Guard squadrons until the mid-1970s. Incidentally, VR-24 itself was decommissioned in 1993 after 46 years of continual operations. This R4Q-2 of VR-24 131691 was incidentally used as prop in 2004 version of 'Flight of the Phoenix'. Textures are 32bit BMP. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, P3D v1-3.

RAF West Raynham was situated 2 miles west of the village from where it got its name and was built as a part of the RAF expansion scheme. The Station opened in May 1937 and was a bomber command unit throughout the Second World War. The Station closed in 1994. I was Stationed at RAF West Raynham in the late eighties and that is the period that I have tried to re-create here. I have given the Station the ICAO code of X3WR in line with other scenery developers who use Bones as a reference

RAF Bardney is a former Royal Air Force station located 1.7 miles (2.7 km) north of Bardney, Lincolnshire, England and 10.2 miles (16.4 km) east of the County town of Lincoln. It was built as a satellite to RAF Waddington in 1943 and the airfield closed in 1963. Souce: Wikipedia In this update I have followed the practice of giving the ICAO code from Bones Avaition page, therefore the ICAO code X4BA. Although the runways, peri track hangars are pretty much as was; the remaining buildings used are just eye candy and there just to give a flavour of a wartime station. There are no taxi way or runway markings as these were not used until sometime after the war. I have however, kept the use of the lights as a form of lighting was used during the war, clearly they would not of been on all the time like mine, but as the hangers show at night I decided to keep the lights. :)

This is an addon for Lime Sim / Aerosoft Antartica X. It adds highlights elements around McMurdo. (1) Marble Point Refuel base (2) remains of Vanda base (3) wreck of the pegasus (4) Scott Hut (5) Schackelton Hut. The glacier just above Marble point is "landable" is reality and is a nice half way between McMurdo and MarioZuchelli. A Kmz map is provided Credits: Marble Point and Vanda are orginals, the pegasus is a transformation of the Constellation of 707 (3D warehouse), the two huts are just convertion of the work of pmolsen (3D warehouse), some filler objects from the Antartica X libraries (sascha). Vila - Munda. By using BombRunHost and Multiswap a One Team Mission can be flown. The .mis-file only contains anti-aircraft guns and weather settings. The BombRunHost files both have 100% hard settings and one tag-color is used, one has NO FUN settings applied.
