FS2002/FS2004 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17F "Fresco C" The MiG-17 is a refined version of the famous MiG 15 of the Korean War. Although similar in appearance to the MiG-15, the MiG-17 has more sharply swept wings, an afterburner, better speed and handling characteristics and is about three feet longer. Soviet Space Shuttle Buran, Version V4.8.1 on January 16, 2012. This model utilizes meshes and textures recently updated by Don Gallagher ("Donamy"). This version is essentially a Shuttle Fleet V4.8 vehicle, modified in several places. This package uses a Multistage2 (included along with BrianJ's updated stage.dll) Energia launch vehicle. Because of the changes to the fleet vehicle, this model required its own version of the GPCMFD ("BGPCMFD.dll, included) and the payload bay lights ("BPBLights.dll", also included). The included scenarios have two scenarios that utilize the latest New Mir release: Three runway bases are included, Baikonur, Khorol in the far East (a contingency abort landing site) and Simferopol (the western contingency abort landing site). The BGPCMFD uses a separate landing site table file which has these three landing sites as the first three landing site choices. To use these bases, a model of the Buran Analogue which had its own jet engines is also included in order to practice approach and landing. The majority of features and key controls are identical to the Shuttle Fleet V4.8 and the manual for the add-on should be referenced. The one major key difference is using "CTRL+J" which will extend / retract the docking system tunnel. The tunnel should be extended prior to docking (the docking port is offset accordingly as is the docking port view). The latest versions of RPOP and Universal Pointing MFDs are included in case you install this package and do not have Shuttle Fleet V4.8 already installed. Please test this package on a "clean" installation with only Orbitersound, UMMU 2.0, the latest Mir package and Shuttle Fleet V4.8 only.

FSX Cessna 208B For FSX Carrier After publishing my FSX AI Carrier package (here) I had several people contact me about cable trapping. Well obviously at the time of writing we can't do that. We need Pete Dowson to make us a new FSX FSUIPC for a start and then we need guys who are cleverer than me to work out how to use the data generated to create traps and catapults. But there is an alternative which is both challenging and good fun at the same time. As you know, the FSX carrier is on the small side and although anyone can land planes like the FSX Trike and the FS2004 Cub on it pretty easily, anything much bigger is not really on. So what I've done is modify the FS2004 Cessna Grand Caravan a wee bit. I've given it bigger flaps which obviously have quite a bit more drag. I've also beefed the brakes up a bit and given you a wee bit more reverse thrust. This baby you can land on the FSX carrier ........ if you're good enough! This is an updated update for FS X acceleration, of the Cessna 337 Skymaster by Mike Stone. I did not remember that I had changed the sound.cfg file when I put the original update together; so I have added a corrected sound.cfg file so there will be sound. Most of what was needed was to update the panel and adjust some lights. You need the original aircraft for this to work. No virtual cockpit. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE MY UPDATED UPDATE FOR FSX OF THIS AIRCRAFT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS OPEN THE AIRCRAFT.CFG FILE AND PAGE DOWN TO THE [AIRSPEED_INDICATORS] SECTION AND MAKE SURE IT READS "airspeed_indicator.0 = 1" WITHOUT THE QUOTES. DELETE ANYTHING AFTER THE ONE. FOR EVERYONE ELSE THIS UPDATE IS THE ONE YOU NEED. Bob Chicilo.

I updated Kazunori Ito's FS2002/FS2004 Sukhoi Su-24M "Fencer D" to be flyable in FSX. I re-gauged both the 2D and VC panels per the panel bitmap and real world photos and videos of the Su-24 using gauges from Jan Moravec's Su-15 2D panel, HJG's L1011 and Vladimir Zhyhulskiy. I also added Aaron R. Swindle,s Skysong Soundworks Soviet Mig-21 Fighter Sound Package and Michael Pearson's textures for Iran, Syria, Algeria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia. There are 11 aircraft textures with 2 load outs: Clean or 2 KAB 250 guided bombs, 2 X-58 (Kh-58/AS-11 "Kilter") Anti-radiation missiles ,2 X-31 (Kh-31/AS-17 "Krypton") Anti-radiation missiles and 2 K-13 (AA-2 "Atoll) air to air missiles. I also gave it a ground/terrain radar, afterburner effects, sonic boom effects and panel operable drag chute. Both the 2D and VC panels are fully functional and exactly identical other than the fact that the there is no HUD in the VC panel.

This is an FS9 (FS2004) release, but it will also work with only minor display errors in FSX. The Fiat G.12 was an Italian trimotor military/civil transport plane of the 1940s and early 1950s designed by the prolific engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli. This archive installs different MDLs for five different types of Fiat G12. They each have custom animations, sounds, engines, cockpit layouts, gauges, flight dynamics and on screen handling notes. All components are closely based on the original manuals. A detailed history and explanation of how to fly the five different versions of G.12 is included. Seven different liveries are supplied: Two Regia Aeronautica, one post war Italian Air Force (AMI), one Avio Linee Italiane (ALI), one Airone and two Alitalia ("Alcione" and "Regolo").
