FSX Updates for David Copley's P-38 Lightnings (example here or search David Copley). David has released several versions of his beautiful Lightning for FS2004. All of them except for the Feb 2005 P-38L model (which has been updated anyway and the update is OK) convert perfectly for FSX and all models fly superbly well in FSX, just as they do in FS9. However, with all of them there is a problem with gauges and it was also found that changes have to be made to the normalized_starter_torque figures originally used by David in order to get the engines to spin fast enough to actually start in FSX. This update deals with these issues and also provides thumbnails for the texture folders, making the aircraft fully compatible with FSX. Roger Mole. 3.5MB

The Atlas Cheetah is a fighter aircraft of the South African Air Force. It is a major upgrade of the Dassault Mirage III. Three different variants were created, the dual-seat Cheetah D, and the single-seat Cheetah E and Cheetah C. The Cheetahs have been retired and was replaced by Saab JAS-39 Gripens. This package contains an entirely new visual model and the airfile has been redone to improve the flight dynamics of the aircraft. It includes one model with the choice of multiple weapon configurations, custom sounds, and panel with aircraft specific gauges, and easy-to-read clickable virtual cockpit. FSX/P3D Boeing 787-10 American Airlines with enhanced VC. American Airlines have (2016) 22 Boeing 787-900 on order but no 787-10 - although they may in the furture. Model by TDS/ Tenkuu Developers Studio with advanced 737-800 VC added. The high detail native FSX Boeing 787-10 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. Model includes ground servicing, fuel truck, cargo, etc. Now the 787-8 has the nearest VC I can find -- the 737-800. The layout of the 787 cockpit is not a million miles away from the advanced 737-800. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. FSX AI MD-83 made Flyable. Have you ever wanted to fly the MD-83? Well now you can. This package is an upgrade for the deafult FSX MD-83 that converts it from an AI aircraft to a player flyable aircraft, allowing you to step into the cockpit of the MD-83 and fly it. This MD-83 package has all of the aircraft files, so installing this package could never be eaiser. This package includes three liveries and a simple to understand readme. The EADS CASA C-295MP is a twin-turboprop maritime patrol aircraft manufactured by Airbus Military in Spain. The AEW (Airborne Early Warning) version of the CASA 295 first flew in prototype form in June 2011. This cockpit mod was made by myself and makes the following changes to the stock CRJ-700: 1. Replaces the center MFD with the Garmin GPS, re-shaped to fit in the panel (and the blinking "MSG" is disabled). The old MFD can still be brought up using the satellite/GPS button. 2. Changes the left (PFD) and right (EFIS) displays to a darker background, more like the real ones. 3. In the 2D cockpit, the center bar is removed so the cockpit can be resized, and overall displays shifted over to be more realistic. The magnetic compass can be brought up through the "other display" button. Created by Robert Williams.
