This scenery brings a much needed makeover to Kantishna Airport. In stock MSFS, the runway was unrealistically displayed on a ridge, an anomaly is the scenery. This scenery package fixes that by completely rebuilding the airport from the ground up. Airport elevations have been corrected along with a custom texture for the gravel runway and parking area. Some fixes were also made to the river near the airport, excluding the water that covered areas that it shouldn't, such as areas of forest and sandbars. -- Scenery by Chris Britton (Rotornut44) of Emerald Scenery Deign. Here is just ONE custom repaint, created by Garry Smith for Mike Stone's FS2004_Fokker_F27_500 BASE model.
The new texture folder contains an image of the "Fokker_F27_500 BASE model" wearing the new airline livery. Subtle METALLIC effects textures are included for the ONE "Default" livery: United Express. This unique repaint is a rare livery which used to be hosted at GJSmith.net (now OFFline) and nowhere else.

Aerosoft Lightning T5 & F6 Thunder City pack Textures

Here are repaints showing the Lightning T5 ZU-BEX and F6 ZU-BEW as they were in 2007 when flying with Thunder City. They are released for the payware Aerosoft Lightning series. My repaint of XP693 (ZU-BEY) is also available on simviation. Thanks to Eivin Stenso for testing these paints in P3D V4 and capturing the screenshots for me. Repaint by Cameron Slater.

RAF Harwell, UK, 1944

RAF Harwell is a former Royal Air Force station in former Berkshire, near the village of Harwell, located 4.8 miles (7.7 km) south east of Wantage, Oxfordshire and 17 miles (27 km) north west of Reading. The bulk of the Station lay within Chilton parish; about a third was in East Hendred; and the smallest portion was in Harwell. The first Commanding Officer, upon being asked what the name of the new airfield should be, responded that it should be named after the parish in which his house lay and this happened to be Harwell.

RAF Strubby, UK

RAF Strubby was located south east of the Lincolnshire Wolds town of Louth and south of the village from where the station got its name.
Opening in early 1944 the station lead a varied aircraft career being used by the USAAF as well as the RAF during the time it was operation. (For a more detailed history of the station the following web site is a wonderful source of information - www.bcar.org.uk/strubby-history. The station closed for Military flying in 1972.
