FS2004 Zlin Z-142 Package. Zlin Z-142 is Czechoslovak all metal, two seat, sports and training plane. It's intended for basic or advanced training, for aerobatics training and for IFR and night flying. FS2004/2002 Yakovlev Yak-38 "Forger-A". Yakovlev developed the Yak-38 based on Yak-36 V/STOL aircraft. Yak-38 was the first production vertical takeoff/landing aircraft built by the Soviet Union. Yak-38 was built to operate from the Soviet medium-sized Kiev class aircraft carriers. Two jet engines vertically installed behind the control seat generate the lift power. After the door equipped up and down is opened, these engines are worked. There are 16 air intakes that open with the spring in the door above. Another one turbo-jet engiine built into the body is generated in the cruise power. A total of about 230 aircraft were built. by Kazunori Ito. 1.4MB

You can ride on this beautyful old steamship as captain, standing on the helm in the wheelhouse, or you can enjoy a ride as passenger, beeing on the foreship, beside the wheels or at the stern.

FS2004 Antonov An-72 in Antonov Airlines Colors The Antonov An-72 "Coaler" was designed as a Short TakeOff and Landing (STOL) aircraft which can operate from unprepared airfields. The An-72 originated as An-32, but was later fitted with jet engines. The first prototype flew on 22 December 1977, and the aircraft entered service in 1979. The wings are high-mounted with two turbofans located in long pods mounted on top. Round air intakes extend from the front of the wings' leading edges. The engines were placed on the leading edge of the wings to increase lift for STOL capability, with the jet exhausts blowing over titanium panels on the upper surface. The engine position also gives good Foreign Object Damage (FOD) protection. The fuselage is circular with round, solid nose, upswept rear section, and a flush cockpit. The rear fuselage has a hinged loading ramp with a rear fairing that slides backwards and up to clear the opening. Up to 7.5 tons can be airdropped, and there are folding side seats for 42 fully-equipped paratroops or 52 passengers.
