Project Airbus A319 Update
(Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
0.17Mb (196 downloads)
This is an update for FSX of the Project
Airbus 319 textures by Jim Fly. I have added
all the wheels; adjusted the scrape points;
and updated the flight dynamics. This is
only the air and aircraft.cfg files for the
A319 model and should work with any paint of
the Project Airbus A319 aircraft that is made
for FSX. See Read me file on how to use them.

FSX/P3D Republic Airlines 727-200 1980 Textures
(Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
11.22Mb (196 downloads)
Republic Airlines was formed on July 1 1979 through the merger of Southern Airlines and North Central Airlines, both major regional carriers. In 1980 Republic absorbed Hughes Airwest, also a major regional carrier. By 1984 republic was the 5th largest airline in the USA (and 7th largest in the world) with over 1,300 daily flights. They mainly flew to points in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands. Northwest Airlines was unhappy with the upstart competitor, and in January 1986 made a huge $884 million bid for Republic. Stephen Wolf, Republic's president & CEO, accepted the Northwest offer. Thus ended Republic's short life. Textures are 32 bit. This repaint is Republic's original "Herman the Duck" scheme. It was tested on P3D v3, and should work on FSX & FSX-SE. Also ok on P3Dv4

valdonas Municipal Airfield, in Tomar, close to the center of Portugal. This runway is ULM's certified and is to be asphalted in close future (old dirt rwy replaced by an asphalt rwy with marks). I hope to publish a second version. LPVD is a fake once this airfield has no ICAO published.
This scenery is fully compatible with Portugal Terrain from PTSIM (http://www.ptsim.com) and is based on digital pictures, accurate real measures by Aerodromos de Portugal (http://www.pelicano.com.pt/zmapa.html) and Google Earth.
Freeware. For Microsoft FS2004. Not tested for FSX.
