Saab 37 Viggen Package
(Category: FS2004 > Military)
17.16Mb (4624 downloads)
The Saab 37 Viggen was designed to meet a requirement for an integrated weapons system with high performance, exceptional versatility, and STOL capability from runways which were nothing more than lengths of straight road. The result was an unusual aircraft utilizing a double-delta wing configuration, with canard foreplanes. A remarkable aircraft, the Viggen had superb STOL performance and was able to take off and land in as little as 400 metres. The powerful engine was equipped with a very effective thrust reverse system and could drop into short, improvised airstrips, make a U-turn, and take off just as easily. A wing flap system was incorporated into the canard which provided a reasonably low landing speed, and this, coupled with the powerful brakes, helped immensely in the short landings. First flown in 1967, the final versions were delivered in 1990, with a total of all variants coming to 329 of a planned 800. From the freeware releases by Alphasim.

KMCO-Orlando International Florida V1.4842 for FSX
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
4.91Mb (4623 downloads)
Originally named McCoy Air Force Base, Orlando International is the second-busiest airport in the state of Florida. Orlando International Airport consists of a hub-and-spoke layout with a large main terminal building in the center and four airside concourses. This project attempted to upgrade the default FSX using the latest version of ADEX v1.5 (airport editor by ScruffyDuck Software) and tested using FSXA (Acceleration). In brief the upgrade includes: fixing incorrect headings for ILS/DME runways 35R and 36R; installing missing ILS's; additional parking on all aprons combined and divided by cardinal points and letters corresponding to the 4 terminal airsides; some parking assigned with airline codes; improved Runways' width, length, and taxiways leading to them; additional buildings with roof objects and improved stock ones by adding roof antennae, AC's, radio signaling, etc.; additional vehicle ways and roads outside and inside the airport's perimeter; bridges over small bodies of water near the airport; lots of ground vehicles, both land and airport vehicles, objects and cargo; improved aprons' size; vehicle parking lots; and the B52 memorial park on the north-west side just off the Beachline Expressway near runway 18L; lots more. FSX VFW-614 Updated
(Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
14.64Mb (4623 downloads)
This is an FS2004 to FSX upgrade of Tony Madge's VFW-614
I used Paul Scarratt's PS 737 classic panel.
I also added my own screenshot thumbnails to each texture.
There 8 liveries: 2 Climber Air, 2 TAT, Luftwaffe, Luft Marine, Alsaces, and a fictional Fronteer.
All I did was to make the package compatable with FSX.
Enjoy and have fun. 2d panel only - no VC.
