FSX/FS2004 Beechcraft T-34 Mentor
This is Alpha Sim's Freeware release of the T-34 Mentor upgraded to FSX. The T-34 Mentor began as a private venture designed by Walter Beech shortly after WW II. Beech felt that there was a market for a military trainer based on the Model 35 Bonanza which had been flying for about a year. The first two prototypes were powered by 205 hp Continental engines while the third had a more powerful 225 horsepower engine. The prototype made its first flight Dec. 2, 1948. This aircraft.mdl has updated 2D and 3D Panel, Flight Dynamics and gauges. It can also be flown in FS2004 and FSX acceleration. Upgrade by A.F.Scrub

In April, 1942, a British test pilot, Ronald Harker, flew the Mustang and was very impressed by it. He suggested that the new plane would be a natural fit with the Rolls Royce Merlin 60-series engine, well-suited to high altitudes. At the prodding of Major Thomas Hitchcock, the Americans began working along the same lines (using the Packard license-built version of the Merlin), and the first Merlin-equipped Mustang, the P-51B, flew in November, 1942. The results were impressive, to say the least. At 30,000 feet, the improved Mustang reached 440 MPH, almost 100 MPH faster than the Allison-equipped Mustang at that altitude. This Photo Real Scenery is a complete redo of the FSX Default KMSY Scenery using the latest version of ADE (v1.50), SBuilderX scenery design tool, and Google Sketchup. I have replaced all of the default terminal buildings,
added the New 2012 Concourse D expansion, new 2013 rental car garage, added gate signs to terminals A, B, C, & D, and a several nice scenery enhancements.
Runways 01 and 19 are now selected by ATC for take offs and landings. I also aligned the taxiways and airport aprons to match Google & Yahoo satellite imagery. By Glenn Johnson
