FS2004 Mount Everest photoreal textures About 6,000 square kms of photoreal textures featuring Mt. Everest and several neighboring peaks. Based on a Landsat 7 ETM 15-m image taken in October 2000. The textures aren't very detailed and I did not add autogen, water or seasons. Yet, IMO the photoreal textures highlight the grandiose alpine features quite well. Designed as an optional add-on for fs_him_01.zip. By Holger Sandmann. 77.5MB

FS2004 Boeing 707-329 Sabena. (Category: FS2004 > Civil Jets)
3.02Mb (4432 downloads)
FS2004 Boeing 707-329 Sabena. This is the Boeing 707-329 in SABENA (OO-SJA - 1965) paintscheme. In 1960 SABENA saw the introduction of the new Boeing 707-329 intercontinental jet for long-haul trans-Atlantic flights to New York. SABENA was mainland Europe's first airline to operate a jet across the Atlantic (BOAC - now British Airways - had been flying transatlantic services before 1960, using the De Havilland Comet 4 jet.) OO-SJA has a rich history: Built to the first European order for the 707 & the very first jet airliner for Belgium. Delivered 20-Dec-1959, participated in the Congo airlift in July-1960. After many years of service, on 29-Mar-1981 the number 3 engine caught fire on take-off from BRU. The pilot returned immediately, but with such a heavy aircraft he steered off the runway to stop and the aircraft was written off although with no casualties. Now at the Royal Army & Military History Museum in Brussels. Model by the Historic Jetliners Group. FSDS Design: Gary Carlson, Flight Model: Michael Verlin, Master textures and Night Lighting: Yannick Charland SABENA repaint by Jeroen "killerbunny" De Keyzer. 3.1MB
