Although using different designations these two versions externally resemble
the civil Super H Constellation and are covered by one FS model in this
package. EC-121Rs were camouflaged and used in the Vietnam war, and EC-121Ks were assigned to the Oceanographic Air Survey Unit (OASU). Both types were retired and broken up in 1972. By Team 1049 - Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Manfred Jahn, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne, and Stefan Werner.

FSX update for the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird
(Category: FSX > Military)
15.47Mb (4338 downloads)
This is a panel update for the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, originally designed for FS2004 by Stephane Masset and Pierre Marchadier and updated for FSX by Danny Garnier. It features a new VC design and the original 2D panel with all new gauges as well as a grey instead of the original blue window frame in the VC. Smoke burner and afterburner effects are all automatically activated by opening the throttle. Unfortunately, the yellow specific reconnaisance radar gauge is just static as there is no gauge like it for FSX nor could it be incorporated in the VC if there was. But at least, unlike in the Alphasim model, thanks to the original designers, it is displayed here. Nothing can be done about the "too low, flaps" announcement when starting the plane. All credits go to the designers mentioned above. New VC design, slight interior enhancement, effect configuration and new gauge configuration by Michael Pook.

FSX/FS2004
Gloster F5/34 “Guardian” Package.
.The last of the Gloster fighter designs created by H P Folland,
the single-seat all-metal cantilever monoplane evolved to Specification
F.5/34 (which ultimately produced the Hurricane and the Spitfire)
was powered by an 840hp Mercury IX nine-cylinder radial engine
and carried an armament of eight 7.7mm Browning guns. This aircraft,
to which no designation was assigned other than that of the
specification that it was intended to meet, suffered somewhat
protracted development owing to the company's preoccupation
with the Gladiator. The first of two prototypes did not commence
flight trials until December 1937, with the second following
in March 1938. By the time that the Gloster fighter made its
debut, the Hurricane had entered service and the Spitfire had
reached production, and further development of the Mercury-engined
monoplane was not pursued. Model and textures by Bill Holker,
modified airfile and gauges from various freeware releases and
Microsoft FS, sound file downloaded from Sim Outhouse. For FSX
operation the Glass texture file needs to be converted to a
DXT3 bit map. 12.8MB
