VF-213 Black Lions Textures only for the Iris F14. BLACKLION 201. This repaint honors the legendary J. Monroe "Hawk" Smith. In his various assignments and commands, "Hawk" Smith helped to evaluate, improve, and develop tactics for fighting the F-14 Tomcat. This repaint depicts "Hawk's" VF-213 Tomcat during the 1979 Med Cruise, where he served as (XO and) CO. My thanks to all the VF(A)-213 aircrew, maintainers and families. AirTran Airways is an American low-cost airline headquartered in Dallas, Texas and is a subsidiary of Southwest Airlines. The wonderful new Boeing 787-8 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. So now the 787-8 has the nearest VC I can find -- the 737-800. The layout fof the 787 cockpit is not a million miles away from the advanced 737-800. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. I have included the great Air Tran textures by Mr A Polash. Model is not modified in any way. VC added and aircraft.cfg edited to allow correct VC views. TDS wonderful native FSX Boeing 787-8 model. FS2004/FSX Hawker Fury with Radial engine Persian Furies had Pratt & Whitney Hornet radials, but these were later replaced by Bristol Mercury engines for added performance. So favored were the Persian Mercuries by their pilots,that they were flown as late as 1943. However the engine installation moved the c.g. forward resulting in a tendency of the airplane to nose over during taxiing. GMAX by A.F.Scrub
