I originally offered this update for FS2004 to Richard Alexander van Hien's LTV-Ryan XC142 for FS2000/2002 because it's a
beautiful model of a very unusual aircraft, but which didn't fly properly in FS2004, due mainly to attempts to
mimic VTOL simply with extremely high-lift flaps, although the old airfile also didn't seem to suit FS2004 at
all.
Now I'm offering this FSX version because the .gau gauges used before don't work.
I've also changed the flight characteristics and the sounds a little from the FS2004 version.
Unfortunately the 'FS2004 propdisk in FSX' problem still exists (you can see trees and clouds through the disk), it seems not too intrusive to me.

This is the entire aircraft. All credit to the Posky team for a
most wonderful ERJ135ER. I fly her in FSX SP2 successfully.

Hawker Typhoon. I have updated the flight
dynamics, changed the GPS, added a nav/GPS
switch to the nav panel, changed the view
zoom and added sound from the P-51. This is
the whole aircraft.

FSX native B-36 Peacemaker. Built by consolidated Vultee (Convair) in the late forties, The Convair B-36 Peacemaker was the largest American bomber every produced. Development of the huge plane began in 1941. The Army Air Force wanted a bomber that could fly from the United States to Europe, drop bombs, then return. The prototype first flew on August 8, 1946. The first operational models were delivered to the Strategic Air Command 1948. Included in this file are versions, A, B, D, H, and J models. The A and B versions are textured in FS9 style polished metal textures. Includes a virtual cockpit based on the b-36b cockpit, with a few updated and modern instruments, and a full gauge panel on the engineer station. custom sounds taken from scenes in the movie "strategic air command."
