Hawker Hurricane Package for FSX and P3D. Revised version of the Aeroplane Heaven GMax model converted to FSX native by A.F.Scrubb. Fixed VC and 2d panel with working gauges. Added 2 extra textures, Canada and Tankbuster. The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-seat fighter aircraft of the 1930s–1940s that was designed and predominantly built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd for the Royal Air Force (RAF). Although overshadowed by the Supermarine Spitfire, the aircraft became renowned during the Battle of Britain, accounting for 60 percent of the RAF air victories in the battle. FSX adaptation, 2D panels for wide and standard screen (no VC) and specific gauges including GPWS + Warning callout by Philippe Wallaert. Credit: kazunori Ito for the original and excellent model. WashDCX beta is a complete upgrade to the default FSX Washington D.C. scenery. You will find included in this download: Satellite images; traffic files; and additional significant landmarks and buildings surrounding the downtown National Mall area. See the Readme file for a complete list. I have imported several models from Google Sketchup taking great care to minimize drawcalls for each one. Although all models may not appear "perfect" in the beta version, I have shown it can be done and it is something that can be improved on. You will find a drastic improvement of flying over Washington D.C. when compared to the default FSX scenery. This is the first beta release.
