F-84F "Casey Jones" imitation MiG of The Hunters Textures
(Category: FS2004 > Military)
4.50Mb (680 downloads)
Textures only for Kazunori Ito's F-84F Thunderstreak. Requires RepublicF-84-F-am.ZIP file. This is painted to resemble the MiG fighter jet flown in the 1958 movie "The Hunters". The movie used F-84F aircraft to imitate enemy fighter jets since no MiG jets were available in the USA at the time. Included in this file is an update to my "Hunters" textures of Kirk Olsson's F-86 with a cleaner bitmap. Movie notes are also included. Repainted by R.E. Wyman.

FSX Westland Wyvern 'What if' Pack
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
12.96Mb (2201 downloads)
27 repaints for the Nazca studios/ Flyingstations.com freeware Westland Wyvern for FSX.
Delayed by no less than 3 engine changes and shifting priorities, the Wyvern was a troubled aeroplane,
though it had massive potental, and was described as having "just missed being great"
What if...
Flashback, 1939. What if some one with more vision and less professional jealousy
was in charge of gas turbine development at the Air Ministry?
Flashback 1944. With the Python and Clyde heavy turbine propeller aero engines moving
at a cracking pace, the troublesome Eagle sleeve valve piston engine is discarded, and turbine power
specified from the outset for the N.11\44 strike fighter. An extensive flight test program with the Firebrand
test bed resultes in fitting a Dowty inertia controller, eliminating the Pythons surging problems. Taking to the
air in february 1946, the big Wyvern is an immediate winner.
27 what if repaints for RN, RAF, RAN, RCN, RNZAF, Aeronavale, USN, USMC, USAF, MLD, Marineflieger, Luxemborg Marineflieger and FAECuba Wyverns
With the gracious permission of the FlyingStations.com Crew

KSAN San Diego International Airport
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
33.45Mb (8421 downloads)
FSX KSAN San Diego International Airport, Lindbergh Field, San Diego (CA), Photo Real Scenery. This Photo Real scenery is a complete rebuild for the FSX Default KSAN airport using the latest version of ADE (v01.50.11) & SBuilderX scenery design tool. SAN is one of my favorite airports to fly into because of its beautiful scenery, and it is ranked as #10 on the "Worlds Most Dangerous Airports" list. This scenery includes the new expansion of Terminal 2 that is scheduled to be completed in 2013, but the gates and ground textures are not update yet. I will do a scenery update as soon as those files are available. It also includes new terminal buildings, new buildings located on the RWY 27 approach, and Photo Real ground textures that gives the airport a more realistic feeling. I have added some Google Earth buildings, new warehouses, and several nice scenery enhancements. The runways and airport aprons are aligned to match Google & Yahoo satellite imagery. By Glenn Johnson
