RAF Mitchell III
(Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
2.74Mb (876 downloads)
In honor of the new RAF textures released by Sopwith Chameleon for both the RAF Mitchell III, I have done a new model that reflects the proper configuration of the J model used by the RAF (no cheek guns).
This is a complete aircraft. She uses stock gauges and her DP uses the same weps as the other TR_B-25 series aircraft available here at SimV.

The library was built for use with EZ-Scenery Manager it mainly covers the 70s and 80's although the 48kW and 72Kw GPU's can be used with Tornadoes. The loaders are mud mover orientated. The models were mainly produced from photos and in some cases I managed to find dimensions. Paul Mitchell

FSX Military Scenery Objects v2
(Category: FS Design > Scenery Design Objects)
1.78Mb (3028 downloads)
Inspired by the superior work of Michael Carr I have developed a small library of Ground Service Equipment. These objects are mostly painted in the standard olive drab you find at many military bases. As with all my work the emphasis is on Frame-Rates and not microscopic reality so squint a little and pretend. Some of these objects have been included in my earlier scenery releases (most notably Seymour Johnson AFB) and I now present the complete collection as a library for use with scenery object placement programs like EZ_ Scenery from Abacus. Alaska Navaid Update 2011
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
0.49Mb (807 downloads)
The default Flight Simulator database of VOR/NDB's is fast becoming out of date, Making VOR navigation using current IFR en-route charts impractical to impossible. When flying along charted airways, this discrepancy can cause you to become far off course. This update solves that problem by re-calibrating all navigation aids in Alaska based on information submitted to the FAA January 13, 2011. This allows you to accurately navigate using any navaid in Alaska while using current IFR en-route charts. This update includes magnetic variation data, and navaid position. All data was compiled from the ground up. http://akfsnavaid.zzl.org
