3D/2D Scenery Experiment--001
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
3.38Mb (411 downloads)
Several times I have made some 2D objects and used one here or one there. This experiment is a composition of 3D objects together with 2D ones. You will see a 2D rock mountain pertaining to be 3D, Poseidon's head cut out like the little soldiers we used to make from cardboard that stood their ground, a black and white group of 1930 bathers smiling at you, some 2D shacks embedded in the jungle etc....Like I said above this is an experiment in Beta form(???) that hopefully will be liked. I will experiment more with this type of scenery in the near future. In the mean time fly out to these two places and see for yourself....

FSX-SP2 compatible Boeing 247D
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
23.74Mb (1889 downloads)
FSX-SP2 compatible update of Dee Waldron's FS9 Boeing 247D.
Includes a passenger version, a fictional freight version, and a
military C-73 version, in 5 liveries and also including blank
white flyable passenger and freight models for those who like
to paint. With FSX-SP2 compatible props, smoke, thumbnails, and
landing gear contact points. Uses the default DC-3 sound and
2D panel and gauges. Includes the original rudimentary VC
(with no gauges, as they will not show up in FSX... sorry).
Blank paintable models have re-aligned fuselage skin seams that
precisely match from texture to texture to make repainting a breeze.
Easy installation. Compiled by Tom Tiedman

TRV EB-66
(Category: CFS2 > Post WW2 Aircraft)
12.78Mb (394 downloads)
The TRV EB-66B is a complete conversion of the FS2004 aircraft by Virtavia (virtavia.com). This includes the original textures. The 2D and DVC have been re-gauged as close to the original as available CFS2 gauges will allow. The DP, CFG and AIR files and the
pilot figure (SID) are by myself. Sound is aliased to Lear45, which is included. Like most large aircraft, careful use of pitch (elevator) trim must be exercised on takeoff, for cruise and landing. The aircraft is totally unarmed.
