HDEv2 Sky Colors Converted for FSX

FSX HDE Sky Textures v2.0 converted for FSX. These files act as HDE sky texture replacements for importing into FSX. The original release of HDE & HDE v2.0 created a high-quality freeware environment improvement for FS9. Many of the high-definition textures offered for FS9 were also easily portable over to FSX, except for the sky textures. From multiple experiences, the sky textures when placed into FSX would not allow the sim to start and would end up crashing session altogether. The problem was that FSX's default sky textures came with a color bit depth of 32, and FSX would read ONLY that bit depth. HDE and HDE v2.0 came in 24 color bit depth, so FSX could not read the textures and therefore could not create a suitable simming environment using them. This package contains all 140 sky textures in 32-bit color depth form, for usage in FSX. Original by Pablo Diaz. Retooled for FSX by Danny Glover

L1049G Lufthansa 1955 Textures

Textures for the Constellation Group L1049G model (Manfred Jahn). L-1049G 'D-ALIN' of Lufthansa, delivered in 1955. This plane was the Lufthansa Flagship for some years, being used on some Government missions, including the first visit of a German Head of Government after the war to Moscow in 1955. After its 'retirement', it was used for apprentice training in Hamburg. Today it is preserved in a museum at Hermeskeil, Germany.

Late in 1943 the lastest version of the Junkers 290 made an experimental Flight to test new engines and landing gear. Captain Upsherfulf comanded it for his experience in the Russian Front with dive bombers was made into a movie. The flight made all its stops with no problems but somehow it was never seen again...Fly the route he took and try to find out what happened to the plane and the crew...really strange.

FS2004/FSX Curtiss R3C biplane racer
Curtiss-built biplanes that equipped fighter units of the Air corps and Navy during the 1920's and 30's were inspired by the air racing during the early 1930's. In 1925 the U.S. Army and Navy ordered from the Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company aircraft of basically the same design but with individual variations. The R3C variants ran away with first place in both trophy races in that same year. One of them also established a straightaway speed record for seaplanes of 245.7 mph. Source included. MiG-25 Foxbat Adapted for FSX

MiG-25 Foxbat. This is an old Alpha Simulations ex payware model originally for FS2004/2002. Developed to counter the Lockheed A-12, the MiG-25 Foxbat is capable of 1864 mph at optimum altitude. The first prototype first flew in 1964 and series production commenced in 1969. The type is still in service in several of the once Soviet-aligned states. Modified for FSX with XML gauges included in the 2d panel and VC by Danny Garnier.
