The T-41 Mescalero is a military version of the popular Cessna 172 for use at the US Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, and by the Chilean Air Force in military training, light transport and liaison roles. The chilean version was the T-41D, which included an upgrade in avionics and to a constant-speed propeller. The Chilean Air force operated the Cessna T-41 Mescalero between the years 60s to 90s, mainly homebased at Escuela de Especialidades, El Bosque airbase, Santiago. Created by: Chris Lampard (1999) & Sergio Kaiser (peruvian version) for FS98. Adapted to CFS1 and repainted as T-41 #214 of Escuela de Especialidades, El Bosque Airbase, Santiago, in two textures: -T-41 #214 All grey, with high visibility markings, before 1978. -T-41 #214 Green/tan/grey camouflaged, after "Beagle Crisis" in 1978.
