Realistic F/A-18 HUD for Dino Cattaneo
(Category: FSX > Military)
0.14Mb (7971 downloads)
Aircraft.cfg file and Panel.cfg file to install a new realistic F/A-18 Hornet HUD to Dino Cattaneo's F-14D Tomcat. The HUD has many new features including: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 2.48Mb (7658 downloads)
SEAFSXMS.ZIP is a revision of the default
Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac), Boeing Field,
Renton and Paine Field airports to work with
MegaScenery Earth. The artificial plateau
that Seatac is built on has been expanded
and the 3rd runway added. Runways, taxiways
and various structures have been revised
and/or relocated to match MegaScenery Earth
ground textures. Default objects have been
used in most cases to minimize FPS impact.
MegaScenery Earth Washington-001 (KSEA,
KBFI, KRNT) and -002 (KPAE) are required.

AI scenery Ships/Aircraft Carriers Package (AI Carriers 2)
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
5.42Mb (50393 downloads)
A nice movable ship scenery/utility. This is a small software that allows you to place and control single ships or complete naval fleets in Flight Simulator X. Unlike previous software concerning AI ships and carriers, or missions, it doesn't need complex edit of traffic files or mission files. Just add when you are in free flight, anywhere you want. Requirements: - Java JRE 1.5 or upper (get free at http://java.sun.com) - FSX SP1 (RTM version is not supported) The addon should work with Acceleration (XPack addon). Inserted carriers are cables and catapult-enabled. The menu display keyboard shortcut was changed to shift+j to avoid conflicts with acceleration keys. This software has not been tested on Windows Vista. It may requires manual tweaking of exe.xml. See the included sample_EXE.xml file **** Features **** - insert fleet at current user position or X nm ahead - control fleet movement - request distance and bearing of ships related to user aircraft (fixed magnetic variation) - included hard decks cruiser and destroyer models (useless with Acceleration xpack since they are already included in it) - use catapult & arrestor cables of carriers (FSX Acceleration only) - Insert custom ship models (by editing config files) - Multiple CVN textures developer info: AI Carriers for Flight Simulator X SP1 & Acceleration * * Lamont Clark * second release, 3 november 2007 *

The Final Encounter--2009--Episode I
(Category: FSX > Missions)
22.93Mb (3652 downloads)
Dr. Enzo Bitti has de OK from the UN, and the funds, to check the infamous Inca Tale of the "Fallen Gods" which has been going around scientific circles since 1957. Nanko Lucca, the Peruvian Planetary Scientist wrote a paper about this tale last year and warned that his
astronomical findings in the Crab Nebula were exactly as the computations found in the Kaulis Temple in the jungle of Peru. This is the first episode of this Mission which will take you from Gulfport Miss, to The deep, vine ridden jungle of Peru. According to the tale the end is not in 2012, its is the last day of the second month of 2010...good luck.
