B-26B Strafer Skin

The download includes a new texture by Sopwith Chameleon and AIR file for the TR_B-26B-strafer, and a Word document containing the strange story of the plane Hell's Fury and pilot from the 555th BS/386th BG, Boxted, England, 1943...along with some nice photos. To install simply replace the existing texture folder and AIR file with the ones in the download. You might wish to save the originals for later use. Textures only. Requires the B-26 above.

The Chilean Air force operated the Beechcraft A-99 in the years 70-90, mainly in instrumental flight training and light transport. Homebased at Grupo 11, Quintero.

DHC-5 Buffalo FACH

The only one chilean Dhc-5 Buffalo, used as logistical support by the FACH during early 80's, in the antarctic missions (passenger and cargo) between Lt. Marsh Airbase in Southern Shetland islands, and Punta Arenas.
This aircraft was destroyed in a accident years after.

Grumman HU-16 FACH

The Chilean Air force operated the HU-16 Albatross in the years 60-70, and used them on maritime surveillance, anti-submarine patrols and search and rescue operations. Homebased at Grupo 2, Quintero.
In the sixties, some of this planes operated in the Chilean Antarctic Territory, from Caleta Péndulo, Pedro Aguirre Cerda air force base, located in Deception island, before the base resulted destroyed by a volcanic eruption.

L19-Bird Dog FACH

The Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog is a liaison and observation aircraft.
This light observation plane saw action un Korea and more recently in the Vietnam War, where it was used for reconnaissance and forward air control with under-wing smoke-rockets.
The Bird Dog had a lengthy career in the U.S. military as well as in other countries.
The Chilean Air force operated this light utility aircraft since the years 60s, in duties as liaison, sanitary transport, air reconnaissance and photography.
Today in Chile, this aircraft is yet used for glider towing and is better known with the name of "zanahoria" ("carrot" in spanish).

-Cessna 0-1 #404 all "zanahoria" orange with high visibility markings.

Dch6-100 FACH

The Chilean Air force operate the Twin Otter since the sixties, mainly in southern territories as Llanquihue, Aysén and Magallanes regions. The resemblance of the climate and the topography between our southern regions and his native land Canada, make it optimum to operate here.

I have included a damage profile for use with CFS1, with experimental armament for close support missions, tested in the DHC-6 during the "Beagle Channel crisis" (1978) :
2 x 0.50 machine gun in the wing-struts, 1 x 0.30 machine gun in the left side door, and bombs.

Republic RC-3 Seabee Amphibian

Republic, better known for their military planes, commenced manufacture of the unusual RC-3 Seabee amphibian in 1945 and ceased in 1947 after 1,060 units had been made. In 1945 The U.S. Army Air Force and U.S. Navy placed
orders for several thousand Seabees for war time air-sea rescue duties but these orders were cancelled when Japan surrendered in August 1945. Today (2009) over 250 Seabees are still registered and flying, mostly in private hands but a few still serve as air taxis and light freight bush planes. Complete package for FS2004 with full moving parts, 2D and VC panel, check and ref lists. A real
fun plane, flies and floats beautifully. Two liveries included.
