RAF Hixon, ICAO X3HX) was operated by the Royal Air Force as a class A Bomber airfield during the Second World War. The station opened in 1942 on a site located 0.9 miles (1.4 km) north west of the village and had the station identification code of HX. Three intersecting concrete runways were built on the station, which were surfaced with tarmac for use by Class-A bombers. The station building and technical site were located on the south east of the station and included accommodation and communal facilities for 2938 RAF personnel. There were also four T2 type hangars and one MAP B1 aircraft hangar. Overseeing the station was a 1941 pattern control tower which still survives and is currently being used as industrial offices. During the war bomber aircraft that used the base included Vickers Wellingtons, Avro Lancasters and Bristol Blenheims. Other types that operated from the station included Curtiss P40 Tomahawks, Miles M.9 Masters, Miles M.25 Martinets and Hawker Hurricanes which were mainly used for training. Source: Wikipedia

FSX/FS2004 Upgrade for my Dornier Do-31E3 VTOL-transport aircraft (requires do31vtol.zip). When I have built this amazing aircraft two years ago I've had only a half year experience in 3D-modelling. In the meantime I learned more which led to some improvements: Rolling wheels for taxiing, the VTOL consoles left and right of the instrument panel and the compass in the VC are now functional, improved window frames in the VC (3D instead of 2D), head up console enlarged in the VC matching the 2D panel and a smoothed copilot. Project Opensky Boeing 747-400F assembled and upgraded for FSX/P3D with the developed B747 VC (virtual 3d cockpit) from Alejandro Rojas Lucenda (Manual included). This is the Project Opensky FSX native Boeing 747-400 model, and includes ground cargo servicing, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility. In P3D go to Vehicle - Instrument panel - Posky Utility), opening nose section and more. Included CF engine sounds from BrandonG, with realistic jet whine to make your flight sound great. Thank you to Project Opensky for their contributions to the worldwide community of flight simulation. I have added the high quality textures by Xudeva Irribarra. Also includes the Boeing 747 VC textures upgrade. This give a much clearer 747 interior virtual cockpit look. Assembled, edited and tested in FSX Acceleration and P3D by Chris Evans.

RAF Gaydon (ICAO X3GY) is a former Royal Air Force station located 5.2 miles (8.4 km) east of Wellesbourne, Warwickshire and 10.8 miles (17.4 km) north west of Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. RAF Gaydon opened in 1942 and is known for its role during the Cold War, when it was under the control of RAF Bomber Command as it was the first Royal Air Force (RAF) station to receive the Vickers Valiant when No. 138 Squadron RAF re-formed here in 1955. In 1978, the site passed into civilian ownership and today contains the Heritage Motor Centre museum, the headquarters and factory of automobile manufacturer Aston Martin, and the Jaguar Land Rover Gaydon Centre. FSX/P3D Boeing 787-10 Singapore Airlines with enhanced VC. Singapore currently (2016) have orders for 30 Boeing 787-10 aircraft. The 787-10 has the same capacity as the B777-200 and the A350-900. Native FSX model by TDS/ Tenkuu Developers Studio with advanced 737-800 VC added. The high detail native FSX Boeing 787-10 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. Model includes ground servicing, fuel truck, cargo, etc. Now the 787-8 has the nearest VC I can find -- the 737-800. The layout of the 787 cockpit is not a million miles away from the advanced 737-800. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. I added the high quality textures by Alejandro Magadan. Model is not modified in any way. The VC added and aircraft.cfg edited to allow correct VC views. Manuals included.
