If you look at a world map and see a group of tiny islands next to the bottom right of French Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean, tagged as belonging to GB or UK, these are the Pitcairn Islands. To actually get there takes weeks by ship as there are no airports and only Pitcairn is inhabited. Well now you can get there much more easily with these little airports in the FSX world. CFS2/FS2002/ PA-48 Enforcer With new ideas of how to keep the P-51 Mustang alive in 1968 and in service, the long-standing workhorse Merlin V- 12 was replaced with a turboprop. This mod was not funded by the USAF, but by Cavalier. The new modification was called the Turbo Mustang III. Later, Cavalier sold the project to Piper. The Enforcer had little in common with the original P-51 and it was flight tested in April 1971. The USAF, under pressure from Congress, did order two prototype PA-48 from Piper. Caspian Sea Monster Caspian Sea Monster or Ekranoplan is a ground effect vehicle. This is the FSX Caspian Sea Monster found in FSX Simobjects Boats folder and made flyable. This is a very basic AI model but it will give you a new FS experience and is great fun to 'fly'! It uses the default Boeing 747 VC and 2d panel. FSX/FS2004 Flight Calculator Ver 1.5.6 This Flightsim Flight Calculator will calculate distance and arrival times for both FSX and FS2004 The program has four input components, Local TimeZone, Departing Airport, Destination Airport and the Aircraft to be used for the flight. The program calculates the distance in nautical miles between two FlightSim Airports. It determines the flight length in hours and then calculates the Arrival time. If the flight time passes midnight the arrival day is incremented by one day. Keep in mind these distances and times are based on point to point calculations and do not allow for taxi out, taxi in, start-up times etc. To compensate for this you can input a time period in minutes which is automatically added to the flight time to give a more accurate estimate of arrival times. You will also need the TTools program by Lee Swordy in order to build the aircraft and airport text files. This version solves the problem of a missing system file and adds support for DST (Daylight Savings Time). Freeware By Dave Westbury
