Kemble is now a privately owned GA airfield but continues to be a base for classic vintage jets. FS2004 Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base - An upgraded model as it appeared in mid-1968. This upgraded scenery is much more accurate and elaborate than the Ubon RTAFB scenery I uploaded about three years ago. Ubon RTAFB was the home of the famous 8th Tactical Fighter Wing “Wolfpack” during the Vietnam War (1965-1974). The 8th TFW flew F-4 Phantom IIs. The “Wolfpack” shot down 38 North Vietnamese MiG aircraft - more than any other fighter unit of that war. Another specialty of the 8th TFW during Operation Linebacker was “bridge busting” using laser guided bombs. Note: This scenery requires the Trees_v3.zip Object Library by Gerrish Gray (here). 3.7MB
