FS2002/FS2004 Fairey Barracuda Mk.V. The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier-borne torpedo- and dive-bomber used during the Second World War. The first of its type to be fabricated entirely from metal. It was introduced to the Fleet Air Arm as a replacement for the Fairey Swordfish and Fairey Albacore biplanes. It is notable for its role in attacking the German battleship Tirpitz and infamous for its unusual appearance when the undercarriage was extended and wings folded. Final version of the Barracuda was the Mk V which replaced the Merlin powerplant with a Rolls-Royce Griffon and featured various aerodynamic changes. The Mk V did not take to the air until 16 November 1944, and Fairey built only 37 before the war in Europe was over. By Kazunori Ito. 3.5MB

FS2004 AP Design Sea Harrier Update. This is an update of the Sea Harrier by Adam Preece, AP Design (www.apdesigns.org), and repainted by Jorge GM. It can be found here. I don't have permission. Near the beginning of the month Adam said he was redoing the Harrier and working on the flight dynamics himself. He has not gotten back to me, and has ignored, or not recieved my e-mail, since that time. So here it is. Description: This is an update of the Sea Harrier by Adam Preece, AP Design (www.apdesigns.org), and repainted by Jorge GM. I have added a white nav light, and repositioned the other lights. Pembroke C/n P66-0032 Line-nr: K66B-4011 Callsign: OT-ZAK of the Belgian Air Force. Repaint of Manfred Jahn's excellent Percival Hunting Pembroke Mk51. OT-ZAK is painted in the external livery as it flew in the 1960's. Slightly different from the other aircraft in it's squadron which were all white with a red cheatline, OT-ZAK was half white and half aluminium with a red cheatline.
