Alphasim Republic F-84F Thunderstreak, RF-84F Thunderflash Thunderpig, lead sled, hole sucking air, iron ground hog...Widely utilized by USAF and NATO, this second generation fighter-bomber was renowned for long, laborious take-off runs and landing like a washtub full of hot rocks. Once it got off the ground, it was a predictable and competent aircraft that gave excellent service until 1972 with the USAF, and 1991 with Greece. 3.428 aircraft were produced. 2017 update to FSX native, MDL X materials and animations. Drop tanks on payload visibility conditions, updated pilot figure. F-84F features a second model (set as default) with Mk-7 tactical nuclear bomb on #2 stores position.The Mk-7 is fitted for the LABS system. The weapon displays on droppable object condition, and will thus only display from a saved flight(inc) with MK-7 loaded. The Mk-7 has a folding fin which deploys when gear retracted, stows when gear extended. An updated Mk-7 LABS variant included. This has a FDE massaged to allow LABS (Low Altitude Bombing System) delivery of the store in low and high angle toss, as well as over the shoulder delivery. The PA-12 was produced by Piper from 1946 to 1948. It was called the J-5C until Piper changed its nomenclature scheme. It could carry three people with the pilot sitting alone in the front and side-by-side passengers behind. It was flown solo from the front. This is a FSX native project. It has a slight specular shine and reflective glass. The exterior and interior are modeled from Paul Matt's excellent drawings. The VC has working gauges and animated flight controls. The Solent was a large and powerful flying boat airliner of 1946 built for BOAC and TEAL (Tasman Empire Airways Ltd). The last Solent was retired in 1960. A Solent 3 of BOAC and Solent 4's of TEAL (early and late) and Aquila Airways included. Version 3 model with much better panel and virtual cockpit. For FS2004, an FSX version is available separately. FS2004 B-29-1-BW 'Esso Express'. An early olive drab representation block #1 Superfortress; 'Esso Express' of the 68th BG - 794th BS was used as a CBI fuel freighter. She flew fuel supplies from India to the Chinese B-29 bases across the Himalaya (the 'Hump'). Every Camel painted onto the nose, represents one successfully completed supply mission across 'the Hump'! This multi-resolution 3D model rendition of 'Esso Express' was built for CFS2 and is representing an earlier build cycle of Superfortress Mania. It will be updated to the latest 'standards'of Superfortress 'Mania' at a later time. Package contains a custom 3D model and a custom FDE (fastest and most lightweight B-29). This is Robert Hawk's repaint of J R Lucariny's FS9 Grumman Wildcat Modified For FSX. The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service with both the United States Navy and the British Royal Navy (as the Martlet) in 1940. Although first used in combat by the British in Europe, the Wildcat was the only United States Navy or Marine fighter in World War II 1941-42 in the Pacific Theater besides the brief appearance of the F2A Buffalo. With a top speed of 318 mph (512 km/h), the Wildcat was outperformed by the more nimble 331 mph (533 km/h) Mitsubishi Zero, but its ruggedness and tactics such as the Thach Weave resulted in an air combat kill-to-loss ratio of 5.9:1 in 1942 and 6.9:1 for the entire war. FS2004/FSX Naval Aircraft Factory N3N floatplane trainer Following successful tests this neat little biplane trainer was built in both landplane and seaplane versions. The N3N was used extensively in U.S. Navy primary flying training schools throughout WWII, with the majority becoming surplus immediately when the war ended.
