FSX/P3D. Deadly looking, and just as lethal, the Mil MI-24 series of Helicopter Gunships are perfect Cold War images of the Soviet concept of a "Flying APC" Armed with AT Missles, Rockets and Cannon, and capable of transporting 8 Troops in its cabin. Caused much concern in the West, where there was no counterpart, and given the NATO code-name "Hind" MI-24's were first built with conventional flightdeck-type cabin,as the MI-24A, then redesigned with the stepped, armored cockpits for pilot and weapons systems operator (wso), as the MI-24D. Later improvements resulted in the V, VP, P, and Recon versions. Was, and still, in service with over 20 nations. 2020 FSX native conversion of Tim`s excellent HIND-A and HIND-F. The usual animations, VC`s, and a nicely done animated dynamic system on about 12 texture sheets and 24 drawcalls. This is where Tim`s modelling shines. He could pack his models with high detail and many features, yet still keep the file size and drawcall count down to nothing. The net result: great looking models that run ultra-fast on a soup-can-and-string setup, with a minimal HD foorprint. FSX Native up-convert with all the materials and tags to FSX standard, re-wrote the cfg file for a fsx helicopter. Hope you enjoy this timeless classic for many more years to come. 2 repaints for Dennis Seeley and Massimo Taccoli's very nice BE-200, for FS2004 or FSX versions, though the author uses the FS2004 version in FSX with no problems; as the 2004 version has a VC. The repaints are 'what if?' Be-200's, but not that far fetched, as a MPA variant has been mooted, shown here in the slate finish worn by Naval aviation IL-38 'MAY's'This has been a difficult color to pin down, as in some lights it is slightly blueish, and in other lights it looks greenish.The author has elected to go with the shade Pete West uses in his profiles in AIRInternational. The CONAIR marked machine is likely and unlikely. A few years back, a bunch of the Kahuna's from Conair and BCFS went to Taganrog to look at the BE-200, though the very short TBO's of the engines, and the expense of re-engining,westernizing and re-certifiying,this author doubts one will ever see a machine so marked.

This is another repaint for the FSX AI Default Dash-8. This repaint was requested by a flight simmer that liked my first repaint of the FSX AI Default Dash-8. Made especially for the RAZBAM Skyhawks series, although compatible with any aircraft, this panel contains much reworked bitmaps along with refurbished gauges since the last release, and also has transparent reflections on the windows, HUD, CRT's and analog gauges. This panel replicates the (then) advanced cockpits installed in the Royal New Zealand Air Force's A-4K Skyhawks, retired in 2001. Has a 'Ghost Panel' function for taxiing etc..
