FS2004 Short Hythe. The Short Hythe was a civil conversion of the Short Sunderland III patrol flying boat of WW2 fame. A number of Sunderlands served BOAC from 1943, and 22 of them were converted to proper airlines in 1946. Many of them were taken over by Aquila Airways in 1948-49, and served into the 1950's. FS2004 Vought F5U-1 "Flying Pancake" was designed to combine high-speed flight of a post-war fighter with helicopter- like takeoffs and landings. Alas, only one was built. It never flew. This is an update for FSX of the AN-32 by Tim Conrad. I found this aircraft when I was looking at another aircraft that was on the same page as this one. There was over 19,000 downloads of it, so I thought to see if I liked it. I have added a 2D panel for those like me who only fly that way. It has some american gauges for those like me who find it simpler than metric gauges, but I used as many of the An-32 gauges as would fit. I have added the other 3 wheels and a different autopilot. I activated the speed hold of the autopilot. I adjusted the weight so that you can now turn arround and land without crashing because the aircraft is no longer overweight to start with. I updated the flight dynamics and took care of the problem of not being able to switch from the Indian Air Force textures to one of the other textures. The VC is still there and working in whatever way it was originally working. I did not try to use it. This is the whole aircraft.

FS2002 Spitfire PR XI: Not suitable for FS2004. Aircraft based on converting the CFS1 MkIX and using Bob Bongiovanni's "Display in FS2002" model modification. Even though not used for the Dambuster photo recon missions this aircraft has a simulated Rolls Royce Merlin 70 engine, the high altitude version of the Merlin 66. The light weight PR sim is tuned to fly at 30000ft with a maximum speed of 408mph. With blister tanks the Mk XI had a fuel capacity of up to 476 USG and a sim range of 1587Nm. FS2004/2002 Britten Norman BN-2 Islander 'Winair' and 'St. Barths Commuter' Textures only. These two repaints are a celebration of Christian Delblond's marvellous Caribbean scenery for Princess Juliana International, St. Maarten (TNCM) and the nearby island of St. Barthélémy (TFFJ). They are based on Marcel Kuhnt's wonderful representations of the Britten Norman Islander (here) , available in many variations for FS2002/FS2004 at www.m-r-software.de. Winair (Windward Island Airways International N.V.) and St. Barths Commuter operate ten minute shuttle flights between TNCM and TFFJ, in addition to regional flights to Anguilla, Nevis, Saba, Statia and St. Kitts and charter flights throughout the Caribbean.
